“She is the one the republican party threw under the bus a week or so before the election.”

That’s probably why she won. No connection to the RNC and BUSH.

“How was the champagne?”

No, champagne, just Vichy water.

Of course she is connected to the RNC...she IS a republican. They cut off her funding when she expressed concern about b.Hussien's anti-American tendencies.

Is she on record as bashing President Bush? Can you provide a link?

This isn’t supporting a RINO, this is supporting the rule of law. It has NOTHING to do with his being a RINO.

An article I read last night said that a stack of absentee ballots from the Minneapolis area just showed up. Coleman was suing to keep them from being opened because there was sketchy information about the chain of possession of these ballots. Coleman’s lawyer demanded a full accounting of the chain of possession before they could be opened and counted.

Good. Democrats are making a habit of stealing elections. We cannot allow this to continue and it has absolutely nothing to do with the fact he's a RINO.

So it's ok to steal an election if it's against someone we don't like. That's nonsense. It is NEVER OK to steal an election. It doesn't matter who is stealing it from whom.

Ironic that Conservatives have to save a RINO to somehow believe he will create a veto-proof congress. Norm... you owe us big time!

Welcome to horse trading.

The problem is that RINOs don't keep their words. How can you make a deal with 'em?

No surprise if that happens since Lugar has always been a Dick.

“....I kind of hope it happens though so then Gov Daniels could appoint a younger, hopefully more conservative senator.”

I agree. I hope the Lugar is appointed in the Cabinent. First, Daniels can appoint some REAL conservative. Lugar has a real RINO and many in Indiana are fed up with him. Lastly, Lugar as SOS or SOD would ad a dose of reality to those dreamy libtards.

Minnesota Senator Norm Coleman is now just over 220 votes ahead of Democrat Al Franken A first class idiot with a temper...

Norm Coleman is a Godsend compared to the alternative.

Lest we forget, A DFL'r will vote for a gnat if they tote a "D" after their born name before a human non-DFL'r.

The days of Republicans going it alone with just their Congressional and/or campaign staff are over. Other voices are needed to get elected. The Democrats have had the liberal media backing them for decades. Now they have leftwing partisan groups like MoveOn.org, DailyKos and Democraticunderground that have sprung up in the last eight years. They've done a far better job of promoting the liberal agenda and opposing the GOP, then rightwing groups have done to advance the conservative agenda and oppose Democrats.

Norm Coleman is in the position today of being beaten by a comic has-been, a first class clown. Coleman deserves to lose.

While it would be easy to say, “Well Coleman didn’t vote for this bill or that bill, let him go” this is defeatist, suicidal and sets back our fight to rebuild our conservative movement

Not even sure why this was raised. Anyone who prefers Al Franken to Norm Coleman is a partisan liberal or an idiot.

Coleman deserves to lose.

Then let him lose in a primary and fair and square. He isnt' being voted out of office, the election is rightfully his and it's being stolen.

I can't believe the number of Freepers who believe it's ok to steal elections if one doesn't agree with the victim. With Republicans like this, why would Democrats ever fear stealing any election.
