Bush Embraces Obama’s Socialism
Accuracy In Media ^ | October 26, 2008 | By Cliff Kincaid

In short, we already have a socialist president―and his name is Bush. Bush’s latest scheme, as he explained in his Saturday radio address, is a November 15 “international summit,” including the United Nations Secretary-General, to “begin developing principles of reform for regulatory bodies and institutions related to our financial sectors.” This is bureaucratic doublespeak for what has been called “global governance.” Some may fear with good reason that world government and global taxes are on the way in and U.S. sovereignty is on the way out.

Sorry if this is old news to anyone. Researching on the timing of the economic failure and found this article and it stirred me up. Nonetheless I did support Bush myself both elections but this worries me. This is also my first post even though I have been lurking awhile.

There is also another article that was very telling to me even though I know the hearing of the hedge fund managers has also taken place. Link http://www.aim.org/aim-column/whos-behind-the-economic-collapse/

Maybe Obama embraced Bush’s socialism?

I actually believe that it will be Obama that will have to conform with the way that the government is run from the executive branch point-of-view. There is no way he will be able to fully implement his policies with the way the economy is. I'm sure he was really surprised about the reality of the world when he received his first briefings. Especially after his first press conference as President-elect he realized that the only change that will happen is a change in his perspective of how the world really works and how Washington will make him conform. It is up to him how he will embrace reality and try to gather up the strength to lead this nation. It will be a real “growing-up” experience for him.

No kidding.
Bush was doing socialism while Barack was still organizing his kindergarten class in Indonesia.

Scary stuff.. Can reality make a soviet leftist like obama become a realist? I kinda doubt it, I think he’ll still do what he said, except for all the benefits to the US people.

Bush has done some real damage to conservatives as a spender. It’s a damn shame, and it cost us dearly.

Wrong. LBJ and Jimmy Carter never “matured” as you suggest that Obama would. today the empty suit picked MI. Govenor
Jennifer Grandholme and David Bonior as his economic
transition advisors.

The Messiah’s choice could not have been worse.
Wake-up! This stooge is a communist.

No, Owatamla and others, I’m not surprised, Pres bush was definetly always a globalist. No surprise there. (I strongly reject that BTW)The problem is the path that’s being laid down by previous and current POTUS’s, will make a march to a OWG eaiser.

Biblical? In our time? just wait and see..

He is definitely a Soviet leftist without a doubt. His supporters proved that as they waived a Soviet flag in front of the White House on election night. As Bobby Jindal pointed out though, if you want to elect a conservative, then you have to put a conservative forward a conservative in the general election. The GOP didn't do this during this election. We have to rebuild now, get real conservatives in Congress in 2010 and actually promote a real conservative for 2012.

Sorry, Charlie, but cutting taxes as Bush did won’t compare to
the massive taxation by Obama.

President Bush was no socialist. Obama is a committed Marxist.

Oranges to apples comparison.

I’m saying that my first observations are that he is getting a dose of reality. I’m not implying that he has matured. Most of the people who voted for Obama never lived in a world that had LBJ or Jimmy Carter as a President. They will suffer the consequences for being so naive.

Ehem...
Bush’s tax cuts, while nice, did remove even more people from the tax rolls, expanded tax credits, and made the tax code even more progressive.

So actually, Bush’s tax cuts were socialistic.

But mostly I was talking about the rest of his entire domestic agenda.

Daddy Bush was proponent of the new world order, wake up guys, everything is being setup as to what stated in the Bible. Our country as the former super power is now being weakened and has to conformed to Europe the 4th World Empire or I say the Roman Empire as King Nebuchadnezzer’s dream iron mixed with clay (Book of Daniel). Scary but is not to those who believe in JESUS CHRIST, the only true living God.

Well, at least we can now rest assured that North Korea is no longer part of the Axis of Evil.

Tonight I’m going to get a wonderful, full eight hours of pillow-time for the first time in days because I saw part of zerO’s speech today.

He’s never looked more subdued and tired. This makes me very happy. :-)

I’m saying that the reason that he is “more subdued and tired” is because he now realizes that his agenda is not consistent with what can really be done. Apparently, he drank too much of his own Kool-aid. Let’s just hope the trend continues.

For people who ignored LBJ and CARTER’s legacies McCAIN should have developped an accurate historical insight on USA and world-wide history...But he didn’t show any vision.

New generations have TO LEARN HISTORY and MUST BE TEACHED for that...Liberals,who pretends to CHANGE the world and make everything new like GOD,prefer amnesic people they can brainwash easier

George W. Bush is a Compassionate Conservative, who enjoys spending lots of the taxpayer money , but will not pay for it with higher taxes.

Who was the bigger loser? George W. Bush or George H.W. Bush?

I think George W. Bush was a much worse president than his dad.

United Nations Plaza would be an excellent spot for one of those high-rise parking ramp/garages, and the transformation would be so much more useful.
