Obama takes North Carolina, three days later

President-elect Barack Obama was Friday declared the winner of North Carolina, three days after the US elections, making him the first Democrat to take the state since 1976, media said.

Obama's triumph over Republican John McCain in the southern state adds another 15 electoral college votes bringing his total to 364, with 270 were needed to win the election.

The results from Missouri, however, are still not declared with the two candidates running a neck-and-neck race with only a few thousand votes separating them, with McCain narrowly in the lead. Missouri has 11 electoral votes.

Independent tracking website RealClearPolitics.com said Obama had won North Carolina with just 0.5 percent more of the vote. MSNBC gave the result as 2,123,395 votes for Obama and 2,109,402 for McCain.

A lot of Yankee Baby Boom liberals have moved to the state. So this is not totally shocking.

We have a 1 billion dollar budget deficit. Might as well be a blue state on top of that.

Just more criminal “votes” to puff up obambi’s ego. What a sad pathetic little man who has such an inferiority complex as to falsify MORE votes after he “won”!
All obamanites have “sown the wind” and will now “reap the whirlwind”!

Well if you must know, the McCain strategy insured our becoming a blue state.

They stopped their advertising in NC after the olympics and didn’t resume it until the week before the election. So many unanswered attacks, so many missed opportunities. And it was still CLOSE !!!

So Obama wins all the close races but one. Funny how all the close ones just barely make it to the Dem side. All McCain’s wins but one were by much larger margins.

I looked at the indiana site about 2 hours ago. McCain is still leading, but I didn’t notice that all votes are counted.

The geniuses put all their efforts into winning Pennsylvania. A swing of about 500,000 voters in several states and McCain could actually have won the electoral college but the clowns running that campaign chose to lose in PA by 600,000 votes.

And now they blame Sarah. Useless sob's.

He got crushed in Pennsylvania, it was all a fantsay. He underpermormed Bush by 9% in PA in an election where he underperformed Bush by 4% nationally.

I admit I was shocked about NC & VA. I never expected them to go ‘Rat. I predicted they wouldn’t. But I guess both states are becoming like New Hampshire, filling up with idiotic liberals who flee from liberal taxation and decay in blue states, and then turn their new home state into the same thing they fled from. Liberalism is like a spreading virus.
