The Left has NEVER been tolerant. Let's be clear about that.

Catholic ping!

Start saying the prayer to St. Michael the Archangel, especially if you live California! See the above story.

"For 'tis the sport to have the enginer / Hoist with his owne petar"
-- Shakespeare, Hamlet III iv.

"Hoist" was in Shakespeare's time the past participles of a verb "to hoise", which meant what "to hoist" does now: to lift. A petard (see under "peter out" for the etymology) was an explosive charge detonated by a slowly burning fuse. If the petard went off prematurely, then the sapper (military engineer; Shakespeare's "enginer") who planted it would be hurled into the air by the explosion. (Compare "up" in "to blow up".) A modern rendition might be: "It's fun to see the engineer blown up with his own bomb."

“The Left has NEVER been tolerant.”

Oh, they’re VERY tolerant; as long as you agree with them!

Why do I have a feeling that these violent threats against conservatives are going to spread nationwide under the Obama/Reid/Pelosi regime?

Couldn’t that crap be considered terrorist threats, hate crimes?

I’d like the AG of CA to investigate.

The other side's response (They're not giving up):

From article at: http://www.hrc.org/11522.htm

Op-Ed from Human Rights Campaign President Joe Solmonese on Approval of Proposition 8

On Tuesday night, our community felt the emotions of electing a pro-equality President and expanding our numbers in Congress and state houses across the country, but the next morning our hearts were broken as the dust settled and it was clear we lost the marriage ballot measures in California, Florida and Arizona...

And for those of you who gave your time and resources, your sacrifices were not in vain. You've helped lay the foundation for the victory that will one day be ours...

You can't take this away from me: Proposition 8 broke our hearts, but it did not end our fight.

...Every "Yes on 8" sign was a slap. For ...to LGBT people and the people who love us, its passage was worse than a slap in the face. It was nothing short of heartbreaking...

...But it is not the end...

...But make no mistake: I do not think we have to audition for equality. Rather, I believe that each and every one of us who has been hurt by this hateful ballot measure, and each and every one of us who is still fighting to be equal, has to confront the neighbors who hurt us. We have to say to the man with the Yes on 8 sign—you disrespected my humanity, and I am not giving you a pass. I am not giving you a pass for explaining that you tolerate me, while at the same time denying that my family has a right to exist. I do not give you permission to say you have me as a "gay friend" when you cast a vote against my family, and my rights...

...This is not over. In California, our legal rights have been lost, but our human rights endure, and we will continue to fight for them.

They’re taking out their anger on the wrong people.

I believe it was Rush (I could be wrong) that said it was the high African-American and Latino turn out that did them in. And that both African-American and Latino’s are for marriage and family.

LOL... I find it funny how the gays are not attacking the blacks and hispanics who also voted for the ban. Are they scared?

Of course. They are setting back their own cause decades by this kind of behavior. If you lose, be graceful about defeat and work on trying to convince people same sex marriage is good for society. Acting like spoiled brats and threatening people with violence is only going to convince them they were right to vote they way they did. I haven't seen one act of anti-gay bigotry or intolerance from traditional marriage supporters. Bigotry, contempt and intolerance for people of faith has come from the other side. They lost and they should respect the will of the majority.

"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus

MA - gay blogger - Newburyport got the names and addresses of all of the people who signed a petition to put gay marriage ban on the ballot... then posted their names and addresses on his Web site. He got the names from Bill Galvin, Secretary of State. Then, the maggot went on local TV and radio to promote his Web site. Talk about intimidation. And, interestingly, within months married and single gays moved into neighborhoods ... even across the street from where the signers lived.

And, here's a little ditty... summer 2008... pair of lesbians were recanting the behaviors of a gay comedian at a club they went to... totally shocked by the language he used against them (they were laughing), I said, "oh... is this like Blacks can used all kinds of derogatory descriptions for each other but Whites can't? Gays do the same thing? They said, "Yes." You could never say these things to us or to Blacks.

So, as a result, going back to "not politically correct"
