The funniest thing is that Blacks came out in droves to vote for Obama and they also voted 70% for the ban on gay marriage.
They don’t seem to point their anger in the right direction.

Have not really heard too much here in Tampa although I am sure Miami might different.
We have lots of queers here in greater Ft Lauderdale but there hasn’t been much backlash that I’ve heard of. I think any particular demographic in California is probably crazier than its cohort demographic in any other state. And let’s face it...queers are all about emotion.
If you’re looking for some hilarious entertainment, you should check out the DU threads about that statistic...the gays are crying backstabbing after voting for Obama, the blacks are “calling racist bullshit” and saying the statistics are fake...it’s just your classic circular firing squad. I would like someone, anyone, preferably a judge, to step and tell these folks once and for all, a) equal protection clause does not have a thing to do with marriage. b) in order for something to be a “civil” right, it must first be civil, and civilized. NO behavior is a civil right.
If marriage were a civil right, we would not be able to say no to a suitor when asked. The Constitution cannot and does not guarantee ANYONE marriage.
Homophobia: A perfectly rational fear of behavior that is patently unnatural.
Homosexuality is a perversion of what is natural, even if it is genetic in origen (which I doubt) it would still a pathological (diseased) state. It stands to reason that those that are given to homosexuality are by their essense...perverse. Violent or extreme behavior on their part is to be expected when they don’t get their way.
They want the rest of the world to say “you are normal”, when most the rest of the world know they aren’t. This isn’t an issue of “rights”, in that in CA they are allowed to have civil unions, which are essentially the same legally as marraige.
Whatever....if Governor Ahhnold had any sense, he would use martial law to suppress these deviates and their threats against Mormons & Roman Catholics.
The one really good thing that came out of President elect Obama’s election is that the multitude of Black voters that turned out for him, voted against homosexual marraige. They know that being “homosexual” is not morally equivalent to being black and persecuted. They rightfully see that homosexuals do not fall under civil rights protection.
