WASHINGTON – In his preparation to become president, Barack Obama said Friday that he has had discussions with all former presidents — or almost all of them.
"I've spoken to all of them that are living," the president-elect said in a lighter moment during his first press conference since his victory.
"I didn't want to get into a Nancy Reagan thing about, you know, doing any seances," he joked.

I saw today that a new union roofing business opened up in a storefront previously occupied by a hairdresser. I'm retired and take a long walk every day. I'll enjoy watching the day it shuts its doors. Things are going to get like the 70s. Boarded over storefronts will appear in the malls. There will be strip malls whose only occupant will be the local commie assembly person and maybe the district gubmint cheese dispenser. A lot of auto dealerships will close. Kind of fun watching Obama's constituents deal with real hardship. I got through the 70s by never having anything much and never doing anything much but saving pennies to try and buy a house. I guess they'll just turn over vacated properties to the disdvantaged given the death tax and all. Of course, after all the furniture is burned and the copper mined, there will be opportunities in the demolition business. Gotta look on the bright side.

He also paused using the Ughhhhh’s between every sentence during the entire presser just like somebody caught in a lie. This is amazing seeing as he had a script and a list of coached talking heads.
Thank you for posting this thread. I’m glad someone noticed this outrage, and that at least the AP tried to correct him. I have listened to various recaps of the press conference and did not hear the Nancy Reagan reference mentioned.
He somehow needs to figure out how to put a press conference on a teleprompter. With the MSM in the tank for him, it shouldn’t be hard. He is TERRIBLE in an unscripted environment. Sentence after sentence was ungrammatical. Dan Quayle did far better. The press will never put the spotlight on it.
Can you imagine what will happen when this guy sits down across from an adversary? He'll say anything to stay in his comfort zone, and that's pretty damned dangerous.
I can just imagine the decorations we’ll have to scrape off the walls of the WH when they’re done.....

I don’t think anyone will take the job of keeping a file on all the gaffes that will come from the zero, NEVERMIND Biden! It’ll just be too insurmountable and would require too much memory/files! A TEAM of people maybe could do it.

I watched that live, it was a stream of consciousness thing I’m quite certain. Here’s why.
When the president-elect said that, a light went off in my head “but has he talked to any _dead_ presidents.. ha ha..” Because after all this is his first press-conference.
Then, he segued right into that, which perhaps wasn’t taken by others as well as it might have been. But yeah, a lot of Press was just gushing. I don’t watch much TV or programming so don’t keep up much on that kind of thing, but it looks bad.
My goodness, look at that stupid sign. I guess the it will pass the uneducated in the audience by, but there is no such office.
It’s like saying, “Look at me! Woo hoo!”
What a clueless, arrogant idiot. And I’m not saying that just to bash the man. It’s really, really stupid.
I saw that on t.v. Couldn’t believe Obama said that....and yet, we can expect more of the same rudeness and childishness from him. His ego and pride is larger than that tiny country, that isn’t a threat, Iran.
What else would anyone expect from an incompetent jackass?
