America is still center-right. Don't let them fool you. Absolutely correct. The 'rats had to pretend to be far more conservative than they are in order to win. They were helped by the GOP going as liberal as possible.
Note to GOP: you win when you run (and govern) as conservatives!

Americans, like Europeans, have acquiesced to the inevitability of big government socialism. We are merely joining the rest of the world which sees freedom as a secondary concern to comfort.
