4. A New Strategy To Win The War on Terror ***
Chicago had 291 murders from Jan to July 08
Iraq had 221 KIA over same period.
Maybe these guys can prove themselves in Chicago before taking on the world.
Everything not prohibited is compulsory.
LOL, you have a good point. I don't want to run from the war on terror just because Obama is in office. If Obama will let the military do it's job, the WOT can continue. If Obama can't do that, then I guess retreat is the best option.
It made me crazy that NOBODY, not the press, not McCain, not the conservatives wanted to talk about Obama's attempt at education reform in Chicago, spending $150 million at CAC and getting absolutely nothing for it.
According to the after action assessment by the University of Chicago, after spending all that money on various "projects", NOT A SINGLE CHICAGO STUDENT WAS HELPED!!!!
I still can't believe the McCain camp didn't bother to grab this low-hanging fruit. Plus it was another oblique way to bring up Ayers. Why did CAC fail? BECAUSE OBAMA FOLLOWED BILL AYERS' ADVICE. And I'm mad.
Next time, let's have a campaign with a staff that has more than an IQ of 85.
Rahm Emmanuel made $18MM in 30 months as a political payoff at Wasserstein Parella in New York a few years back. As the new president, I would say that is selfish and that he should be allowed to keep $300,000 of it and the other $17.7MM should go to the government to pay for those programs. Further, that house which he lives in but supposedly belongs to his Charitable Foundation should be taken away. He should be given a modesst two bedroom flat with the heat set to a maximum of 60 degrees for winter and a minimum of 80 degrees in summer.
If he goes along with all that, I am all ears as to his ideas.
Bend over, America:
An “end to corporate welfare”? Does that mean rescinding the $700 billion bailout of Rahm’s Wall Street donor cronies?
I wonder how much of this will be pushed thru reallocating the defense budget?
