Sadly, you might just be right. Many of our forebears left their homelands for this land for its political and economic freedom. We may end up having to do the same.

I'm beginning to think along those lines. Maybe someplace outback in Oz might be the place to be. I have avoided thinking seriously about it because I have a handicapped child who is still in a quasi-school program (work transition) and that has been keeping me here. But I am haunted by the thought that in 1930s Germany there were probably families in similar situations, clinging to hope, trying to provide for children and elderly relatives. All that got them was that they ended up in the gas chambers together.

We have got to start hammering the incumbent D’s as much as possible. I live in the Youngstown OH area and have started my letter writing campaign to the local paper (Youngstown Vindicator) hammering Rep Tim Ryan, Senator Brown, Gov Strickland and Mayor Williams.
They all promised a lot of things to this valley if osama was elected-mostly many new “green jobs”. They need to be held accountable for their promises. Even if I’m the only one writing to the paper, calling the local talk shows and tormenting them at campaign or local appearances I’m going to do it. I plan on being a huge pain in their collective asses.
