I didn’t read more than a couple of points but from that it sounds as if it was written by a little girl in eighth grade. These people cannot be serious!?! May the saints protect us in the coming darkness.

From Obama’s plan:

Iran

The Problem:

Iran has sought nuclear weapons, supports militias inside Iraq and terror across the region, and its leaders threaten Israel and deny the Holocaust. But Obama and Biden believe that we have not exhausted our non-military options in confronting this threat; in many ways, we have yet to try them. That’s why Obama stood up to the Bush administration’s warnings of war, just like he stood up to the war in Iraq.

Opposed Bush-Cheney Saber Rattling:

Obama and Biden opposed the Kyl-Lieberman amendment, which says we should use our military presence in Iraq to counter the threat from Iran. Obama and Biden believe that it was reckless for Congress to give George Bush any justification to extend the Iraq War or to attack Iran. Obama also introduced a resolution in the Senate declaring that no act of Congress – including Kyl-Lieberman – gives the Bush administration authorization to attack Iran.

Diplomacy:

Obama supports tough, direct presidential diplomacy with Iran without preconditions. Now is the time to pressure Iran directly to change their troubling behavior. Obama and Biden will offer the Iranian regime a choice. If Iran abandons its nuclear program and support for terrorism, we will offer incentives like membership in the World Trade Organization, economic investments, and a move toward normal diplomatic relations. If Iran continues its troubling behavior, we will step up our economic pressure and political isolation. Seeking this kind of comprehensive settlement with Iran is our best way to make progress.

Renewing American Diplomacy

The Problem:

The United States is trapped by the Bush-Cheney approach to diplomacy that refuses to talk to leaders we don’t like. Not talking doesn’t make us look tough – it makes us look arrogant, it denies us opportunities to make progress, and it makes it harder for America to rally international support for our leadership. On challenges ranging from terrorism to disease, nuclear weapons to climate change, we cannot make progress unless we can draw on strong international support.

Talk to our Foes and Friends:

Obama and Biden are willing to meet with the leaders of all nations, friend and foe. They will do the careful preparation necessary, but will signal that America is ready to come to the table, and that he is willing to lead. And if America is willing to come to the table, the world will be more willing to rally behind American leadership to deal with challenges like terrorism, and Iran and North Korea’s nuclear programs.

Here’s an example of Obama talking to our foes:

At first I thought it was a parody. Until I realized it isn’t.

This may be a little too psychologically complex for the simple minded liberals, but here goes: Talking to the world's dictators, despots, and terrorists without demanding public concessions beforehand only serves to legitimize the tactics of dictators, despots, and terrorists in the eyes of those they subjugate.

America is the greatest nation in history, when you give them an equal seat on the world stage you elevate them to our level and you encourage others to behave as they have behaved. The damage may not be evident immediately, but it exists and will come back to haunt you.

Change.gov. Is there a US office of “Change” now?

I must’ve missed that.

This is really embarrassing. Did you take a look at the “Jobs” page?? You can fill out a form to apply for a job in the Administration...I am not kidding! It even says, “Some positions will require Senate confirmation while others will not.” I applied for the Secretary of State position. We will see if I get it...keep your fingers crossed.

The General Services Administration (GSA) manages the .gov top level domain. From http://www.dotgov.gov/:

Domain Name Integrity
To maintain domain name integrity, eligibility is limited to qualified government organizations and programs. Having a managed domain name such as .gov assures your customers that they are accessing an official government site.

He thinks Australia is in Asia! And why is he so concerned about crack and cocaine sentencing disparities?

Efforts Continue to Suppress the Vote: A recent study discovered numerous organized efforts to intimidate, mislead and suppress minority voters.

Disparities Continue to Plague Criminal Justice System: African Americans and Hispanics are more than twice as likely as whites to be searched, arrested, or subdued with force when stopped by police. Disparities in drug sentencing laws, like the differential treatment of crack as opposed to powder cocaine, are unfair.

Eliminate Sentencing Disparities
Obama and Biden believe the disparity between sentencing crack and powder-based cocaine is wrong and should be completely eliminated.

End Deceptive Voting Practices
Obama will sign into law his legislation that establishes harsh penalties for those who have engaged in voter fraud and provides voters who have been misinformed with accurate and full information so they can vote.

Create a Civilian Assistance Corps (CAC): An Obama-Biden administration will set a goal of creating a national CAC of 25,000 personnel. This corps of civilian volunteers with special skill, sets (doctors, lawyers, engineers, city planners, agriculture specialists, police, etc.) would be organized to provide each federal agency with a pool of volunteer experts willing to deploy in times of need at home and abroad.

Organize to Help Our Partners and Allies in Need: An Obama-Biden administration will expand humanitarian activities that build friends and allies at the regional and local level (such as during the response to the tsunami in South and Southeast Asia), and win hearts and minds in the process.

I was still looking, but it is must have crashed.....

If Iran continues its troubling behavior, we will step up our economic pressure and political isolation.

So you think you are strong because you can survive the soft cushions. Well, we shall see. Biggles! Put her in the Comfy Chair!

The reason Zero (AKA “Ears”) wants to talk to Despots and Dictators is to get some points on population control.

When did America get a sex change? I’ve always thought of America as “she” not “he.”

Maybe I’m just overly groggy and reading this wrong.

Obama and Biden will secure all loose nuclear materials in the world within four years.

Now that's funny. Just how's he gonna do that? He thinks he just has to ask?

This was on his campaign website, too. They lied in the debates that they never said this, but the media next called them on this blatant lie and terrible policy.

The Kenyan Clown certainly intends to destroy our country, as anyone who had bothered to actually find out what this Marxist stood for could have found out by doing some research --- the MSM certainly wasn't going to be bothered to do anything except cheerlead this coke-head.

Some more choice bits from the "foreign policy" page:

  • Secure Loose Nuclear Materials from Terrorists: Obama and Biden will secure all loose nuclear materials in the world within four years. While we work to secure existing stockpiles of nuclear material, Obama and Biden will negotiate a verifiable global ban on the production of new nuclear weapons material. This will deny terrorists the ability to steal or buy loose nuclear materials.
  • Strengthen the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty: Obama and Biden will crack down on nuclear proliferation by strengthening the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty so that countries like North Korea and Iran that break the rules will automatically face strong international sanctions.
  • Toward a Nuclear Free World: Obama and Biden will set a goal of a world without nuclear weapons, and pursue it. Obama and Biden will always maintain a strong deterrent as long as nuclear weapons exist. Butthey will take several steps down the long road toward eliminating nuclear weapons. They will stop the development of new nuclear weapons; work with Russia to take U.S. and Russian ballistic missiles off hair trigger alert; seek dramatic reductions in U.S. and Russian stockpiles of nuclear weapons and material; and set a goal to expand the U.S.-Russian ban on intermediate- range missiles so that the agreement is global.

The far left's dream of destroying our nuclear weapon systems is now in sight; destroying missile defense is now on the table; our first affirmative action president certainly is going to take us for an interesting ride.

And appropriately enough, that page simply trails off without completely its "thoughts":

Meeting the Challenge of a Resurgent Russia

  • The Problem: Russia's invasion of Georgia in August 2008 has created a serious new security challenge for the United States and our partners in Europe. In contrast to the Bush Administration's erratic policy of embracing Vladimir Putin but neglecting U.S.-Russian relation

I checked the page source, and indeed, this is just as incomplete in the source as it is on the page. That seems appropriate enough considering the generally incoherent nature of this embarrassing page.

Maybe the staffer who thought that he was a paid employee found out that he had become a volunteer after Hussein decided to "spread the wealth"?
