At the end of Wednesdays CBS Early Show, an emotional Harry Smith declared: "I don't know how else to say this -- I grew up in a household that was not racially neutral. I grew up in a household where racial epithets were used commonly and with vigor. To see the difference in this country, in a country that I grew up in, so many people have said this is not something they thought they would ever see in their lifetime, and I wept tears of joy last night."

The DNC carries a lot of racial baggage, and the people in it do as well. People who are race obsessives find their home there.
GOP’ers tend not to have much race baggage, and people without race obsessions tend to lean Republican, and this includes people of every race. If you don’t define yourself by race primarily, or even secondarily, you tend not to define other people by race, and it so happens you tend to be more comfortable in the GOP.
A lot of the racial conniptions and guilt that the Dems go through just blows right past most Repubs, they don’t get it, and they aren’t particularly interested one way or the other. Obama’s black? Really? So what are his policies? Whereas for a Democrat it was enough to know he was black.
Condoleeza is black? Really? So what is her position on the Second Ammendment? The war? The middle east? Thats all we care about. Her ethnicity is of no interest among Republicans; her policies and political philosophy are everything, and we will alternately praise and condemn her on that basis.
Whatever your ethnic background, if you see yourself as American first, as a conservative or classic liberal first, if character and experience and philosophy are first for you in judging a human being and a political leader, you’re either a Republican or you soon will be.

Harry, most everybody got over the race thing years ago. It has been race obsessed ‘journalists’ who have continued to see racism under every bed and around every corner. I guess it's because the easiest way to get a story published or on the air to play up the race angle. Combine this obsession with the hyper-emotionalism of our metro sexual reporters and reporterettes and we wind up with no discernible difference between the Oprah show and the nightly news.
Sorry, Harry, but somebody had to tell you. I hope this doesn't make you cry.

The problem for the rest of us is that Smith thinks it appropriate to vote for a candidate based on his use as a symbol of one's own personal expiation of guilt.
Frankly, I think Smith needs tortured and I'd like to get my licks in on him before the Obamistas start suppressing that sort of thing eh.(/sarc).

I heard another guy on the radio this AM says that he felt “tears well up” when they announced that 0bamugabe had been declared president-elect. I felt something happen to me as well - I threw up a little bit in my mouth.

I cried to. Twenty some years of fighting Communism and opposing racism only to see the country embrace a man who represents both and all without the radicals having to fire a shot.

I am 45 year old. I have never had any doubt that a black man could become president in my lifetime. I never foresaw, however, that we would elect someone as inexperienced, unpatriotic and so unapologetically anti-life as Barrack Obama.

Harry Smith is a punk with White Guilt, a self hating cretin.
To: wack-m and stack-m
Smith is too stupid to see the irony of voting for someone because of skin color.
Journalists lost All integrity.
They’re bigger whores than the pols.

They feel the need to publicly tell us to convince others they're “good” people.
It's pathetic.

Harry - Where do I go to sign up to have Obama pay my mortgage and buy my gas?

I’ve been reading an Obama propaganda booklet called “Blueprint for Change”. It’s basically Carter with a dash of Goron expanded to a massive degree. A better name would be Blueprint for Political Patronage. It’s nothing but an expansion of big city pay to play extended to the federal level and camouflaged by educational, green and New Deal buzzwords. As some one said on another thread, it’s Acorn writ large. And Harry cries tears of joy.

an emotional Harry Smith declared: "I don't know how else to say this -- I grew up in a household that was not racially neutral. I grew up in a household where racial epithets were used commonly and with vigor. So Harry is another guilty liberal transferring his family's racism to us and then demanding that we make up for their racism.

Here's how I feel: I don't give a d**n that Hussein's skin is pigmented. What I do care about is that his proposals are so socialist. And none of the LameStream Media appear to want to scrutinize that because they're so enamored with the color of his face.
Disgusting.
