In an e-mail statement to CNN's Wolf Blitzer, a top aide to Palin said:

"This is so unfortunately and, quite honestly, sickening. The accusations we are hearing and reading are not true and since we deny all these anonymous allegations, there is nothing specific to which we will respond."

I think that there are some good people who were on McCain's staff, but every one of them can only be held suspect unless there is definitive evidence they weren't involved in the backstabbing (and it had better be good proof).

Any candidate that hires one of these is possibly hiring a backstabbing twerp. Take note of it; flush any political association with any of them unless you have perfect confidence that they aren't the rats.
