He wants to get re-elected. He can't blame George Bush four years from now if the economy is not doing well." Why can't he? He will. And that's how his media lapdogs will report it.

I totally agree. He’s gonna bring this country back to the Clinton years, then proceed with his nefarious plans. Problem is, we’ll probably all be blown to smithereens.

Precisely ... the media forgot about the dot-com bubble in ‘04 when Bush was running for office (and for that matter, the economic devastation of 9-11) but they’ll remember ‘The Wretched Bush Economy’ in 2012 as being the cause of all our woes.
Mark my words.
In fact, I think that Obama is looking at the downfall in the market with glee. This is how FDR enacted the New Deal. You need economic chaos to push socialism.

The stock market is voting and so far we are down almost 1000 points in two days. More is to come with Hedge Fund investors wanting out and their liquidations between now and Dec. 31 could cause another 2000 point drop.
Now if Obama wanted to ease concerns then he should go on TV and make statement that there will no Tax Increases, More Tax Cuts and No Increase in the Capital Gains Tax.
But my guess is he won't and that he and Democrats want to see the market crash so new regulations and more control can be exerted.
