It won’t matter to most people. I had a heated discussion today with a coworker mostly because he was blaming the “evil” Bush for most of the world’s problems. He’s already covering Hussein’s a$$ by suggesting that Bush had messed things up so bad that it will be a long while before Obama gets things on track again. These people aren’t living in reality.
Cooler heads will not prevail. Everyone including his own will be in fear of crossing him.
I think talk radio is running scared, too. There is a difference in their tone now. They don't affect me that much one way or another because I think for myself, but something ominous is in the air.
I didn't respond on that thread about Hasslebeck but watched the video. Now I don't know what to think. Is she a convert or just not want to appear as a sore loser, was more gracious than I would have been. I think I'd have sat there in stunned silence and let the other ladies talk as they always have plenty to say.
It is truly momentous that someone of another race can be elected to the highest office in the land, but excuse me if I can't be enthusiastic and have an ominous feeling of foreboding about it.
