IIRC in Indonesia a man does not formally go through an adoption procedure. He just states this child belongs to me, and assumes parenthood.

We need to find Hawaiian birth certificates from 1961 (preferably from the same day/week as Obama's, and preferably one each of:
---one of someone born to a black American couple, and
---one of someone born to an African (the latter might be hard to find).

These would serve as good benchmarks.
