This is a load of crap. McCain defended Palin as recently as the day before the election with ads...he went on SNL with her. Don’t believe what you’re reading; it is being forwarded by folks who don’t want Palin anywhere near 2012!

I’ll hold my fire on McCain himself (he picked her himself over some staff objections from what I’ve heard), but some of his staff is another story. They want another job and want to be accepted in the beltway.

Actually for the most part, what you are saying is true ... (however I think the SNL joint appearance was with Tina Fey ;-).

My biggest gripe is not to blame McCain for this 'back stabbing' by his staff, but for his very weak campaign ... without Palin, he would have not come even close to the 5 points he was ... he would have carried maybe a few southern states and not all that he did. In retrospect, he was too 'reserved' in his campaign, and unfocused ... Palin was the razor in this campaign, and the crowd getter.

“he went on SNL with her”

Uh, that wasn’t her. It was Tina Fey.

“he went on SNL with her.”

Did you SEE McCain’s SNL appearance? He did NOT go on SNL with her, but with her imitator, Tina Fey. The skit he agreed on participating in was a trashy putdown, but he somehow saw humor in it. Palin as the Neiman Marcus QVC spending gal. Palin going rogue (aka looking out for herself for 2012.) I can’t understand why he would approve those skits, which poked fun at Palin, very little at himself.

It’s called good guy, bad guy routine. Of course McCain “defended” Palin because he was really defending himself. He chose her.

However, McCain’s slimy staff have the bad guy role in bashing her.

Don’t you get it!

I have to agree, the left does not want to have to deal with Sarah again.

McCain hardly gave Palin the time of day when she was running with him.

He muzzled her from speaking of the things from a conservative point of view which would have been his only chance of winning.

He gave the election to Obama.

On SNL he ridiculed Palin.

His defense of her was no where near his praise of Obama.
