TheDon:
“Looks like lot of FReepers got sucked into the DU scheme to hurt the Party. I notice there were no denials to your charge. Sounds like some of the B.O. brown shirts don’t have a life to return to after the election. Or perhaps they are working for 2012. “

soycd:
“Did DUmmyville send you here? This gossip crap just needs to stop and no, we do not want to cost ANY republican ANY money.

Call the media and ask them to shut up about this crap and
find obamers birth proof and any number of other criminal
activities the democrats have been part of.

Nice try tho.”

I really hope you’re not referring to AnglePark as being one of the DU’ers or Brownshirts in this posting. And, before you wonder, I signed up here in 2004, so if you’re concerned about my “credentials” don’t be. I’ve known AnglePark since 1980 when we were in High School together and I know for a fact he is not a lib. He’s conservative. And he tried to make a point that regardless of where the rumors came from (or didn’t), he was disgusted enough that McCain didn’t stand up for her that he requested and received a refund. And you castigate him as some sort of operative. Pu-lease.

As for “not costing” any Republican any money — please note: when we donate, we should expect something for our money. We didn’t win. Fine. But when Palin is thrown under the bus by ANYONE, the LEAST McCain should do is to stand up for her and debunk it. AngleP didn’t get his money’s worth. Frankly, none of us did. So, he asked for a refund. THIS makes him a DUmmie? Wow.

And, personally, I think there may some misunderstanding in the way his post was read; to assume he’s a Brownshirt, or a poser is just wrong. I introduced him to this forum because of its credibility and accuracy. Looks like I may have been wrong in this. I really hope I’m wrong....

I also hope anyone who’s posted any tripe about him will have the guts and civility to apologize.

Hoss

He's probably up in Sedona with the phones turned off.

He denied similar ridiculous rumor during the campaign.

This is Obama people sticking their thumb in your eye one more time before they leave for Washington.

If Palin isn’t at the top of the ticket in 2012 I’m sitting the election out.

She was the only reason I voted this year.

I agree 100%. McCain should man up and stop this crap.

And people wonder why so many of us weren’t willing to climb his pony and take a ride in the early days?

McCain played conservatives for fools again.

Palin should have declined the VP offer and just let McCain crash and burn harder with Lieberman or Ridge.

The good news is that the GOP has got some good younger people rising up in the party. It's time to flush the moderate turds out of the party and unite behind real conservatives.

Plus Charlie Black and John Sears were fired by Reagan in February of 1980. Bill Casey took over and led the campaign to victory without violating the spending limits as were then in place for the primaries. Casey did goooooood.

Here’s one of those pre Halloween stories.....

The Politico had it dead on....http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2116530/posts

...”These people are going to try and shred her after the campaign to divert blame from themselves,” a McCain insider said, referring to McCain’s chief strategist, Steve Schmidt, and to Nicolle Wallace, a former Bush aide who has taken a lead role in Palin’s campaign. Palin’s partisans blame Wallace, in particular, for Palin’s avoiding of the media for days and then giving a high-stakes interview to CBS News’ Katie Couric, the sometimes painful content of which the campaign allowed to be parceled out over a week.”

Wallace worked for Katie Couric at some point.Yikes

“I hope no Republican ever hires any of them!”

And here we have the nub of the problem. Why, oh why did McCain hire them? It seems that whatever the relative merits of the two candidates, Obama out organized McCain. If each candidate was given these top level organizers, then clearly the Obama crowd was more successful. In fact as the Republican ad came out that Obama has never run anything, I found myself thinking, he ran a better organized campaign than Hillary, and now it seems a better one than McCain. I then found myself wondering how many paid workers Obama was managing versus how many paid workers Palin had managed. Does anyone know the answer?

This is a load of crap. McCain defended Palin as recently as the day before the election with ads...he went on SNL with her. Of course HE defended her.....he had too! His henchmen did the dirty work.

“Is anyone open to the possibility that Palin may not be as bright and articulate as we need a nominee to be...”

She is bright and very articulate. We should not limit our choices to those who score over 140 on IQ tests. We don’t want or need micro-managers.

We need a good chairman-of-the-board type who can select her cabinet, referee the differences between them, make some final decisions, fire some people, veto some bills, and talk to the American people’s best old instincts and dreams.

I'd like to say something about whomever is saying that Sarah is "damaged goods."

First of all, that political concept is absurd, and...

second of all (and most disgusting,) is that every female and most gentlemen know that, the use of that term in reference to ANY female, is degrading and insulting on a very personal and extremely private level.

I Don't know how else to put it, but everyone should know what I mean.

I hope to not see that term used on Sarah one...more...time.

Is anyone open to the possibility that Palin may not be as bright and articulate as we need a nominee to be - that the accusations from Cameron were accurate?

I would like you to consider the following carefully, and then give me a reply.

What you are asking me to believe is that Carl Cameron's gossip is accurate.

For this to be true, BOTH of Palin's schoolteacher parents AND all her grade school teachers AND all her high school teachers AND all her college professors were unable to communicate to Sarah the simple fact that Africa is a continent.

The "Africa is a continent" factoid also comes up in numerous parlor games, of which the game Trivial Pursuit is a culturally ubiquitous example.

To recap, Palin stumbled to a governorship and, at 44 years of age, a vice-presidential nomination without learning a nearly universal basic educational factoid.

What you need to think about is what kind of evil, lying scum would be pushing such tripe.

So - what say you, mbraynard?

this is why the number one priority for republicans is to find out where obama got his money,
why did he accept prepaid credit cards
how much did Soros and Buffet give to obama in prepaid credit cards
how much came form abroad

the party needs to investigate how all this money came about and then ban it

especially pre paid credit cards

everyone who donates no matter how small should be made public

if the republicans do not do this then expect to lose the next election against obama as he will probably have near a billion dollars

all this money needs to be investigated ASAP

why is not Bush getting the feds involved?

does he think the Dems will now like him if he lets them get away with all this illegal money
