Report: Palin's Wardrobe Is to Be Audited by GOP
Now that the defeated team of Sen. John McCain and Gov. Sarah Palin have gone their separate ways, the knives are out and Palin is the one who is getting filleted.
Revelations from anonymous critics from within the McCain-Palin campaign suggest a number of complaints about the Alaskan governor:
Fox News reports that Palin didn't know Africa was a continent and did not know the member nations of the North American Free Trade Agreement -- the United States, Mexico and Canada -- when she was picked for vice president.
The New York Times reports that McCain aides were outraged when Palin staffers scheduled her to speak with French President Nicholas Sarkozy, a conversation that turned out to be a radio station prank.
Newsweek reports that Palin spent far more than the previously reported $150,000 on clothes for herself and her family.
Several publications say she irked the McCain campaign by asking to make her own concession speech on election night.
The tension is likely to continue or get worse. Lawyers for the Republican National Committee are heading to Alaska to try to account for all the money that was spent on clothing, jewelry and luggage, according to The New York Times.

The only way the media can justify their “in the tank” approach to Obama is to try to “prove” to the people that doing so saved the nation from Palin..
Of course, the RINOS want control and since McCain lost, they know that the republican base is lost to them....of course, McCain is the one who picked her...so blame him if she were uninformed...but the fact is that she is the ONLY reason he had anyone show up to the rallies...
I’m going to write his campaign and urge McCain to put a stop to this...if he can be magnimous to Hussein, he should help the woman who almost put him in the White House...if not, I will call the Republicans and tell them to NEVER call me again for money. The only reason I gave money was because of Palin
If Palin really didn’t know Africa is a continent and didn’t know the member countries of NAFTA, then I totally blame the McCain camp for not totally vetting Palin.
The McCain camp can’t win by demonizing Palin.
So what's McCain's excuse for not knowing Czechoslovakia is no longer a country?
“”If Nicole Wallace doesnt come forward to dispute this, I would think shes the one feeding it.””
David Frum reports that she is the one doing this - he’s had previous run ins with her and counts himself lucky to survive with just “a few bumps and bruises.” Golly - I remember seeing her during the campaign and thought she was so articulate, knowledgeable and pretty. Can’t judge a book bla bla bla........
“McCain is slowly restoring his rightful place of media darling...”
You are so right. They will probably love him more now that he has destroyed the Republican Party.
If? I really don’t believe any of it. At best it is a gross distortion.
Maybe McCain is busy lobbying for a position in the Hussein Administration.
When you make the list of BO’s dummy statements don’t forget that he said that we don’t need North Slope oil because we could save that much with proper tire inflation.
I've avoided Fox for the past few years...BUT just happened to catch Carl Cameron on Shep Smith/O'Reilly and his unnamed sources regarding his previous 'off the record' anecdotes about Gov Palin.
My IMMEDIATE IMPRESSION...Carl could be likened to a breathless, excitable, prepubescence, girl just about to bleat out the latest vicious gossip. He was so animated, spewing words per second, leaning towards the camera as he related his latest tidbits.
You are speaking of Country Club Republicans, or "countryclubbers" ~ they are a small fraction of the Republican party but usually come with money, influence, or special talents.
You will frequently find countryclubbers on campaign staffs.
What we have here is not a problem with the RINOs or the countryclubbers. Instead this has to do with the cult of personality surrounding Mitt Romney's attempt to win the nomination. These people are called Mittbots. After Mitt lost to McCain a number of them were hired by the McCain professional campaign staff managers due to their "special talents" ~ ability to attract money, make noise, etc.
They imagine that Sarah Palin is a major threat to Mitt's next try in 2012 so they are attempting to totally discredit her now.
We saw them lie about Huckabee and the other candidates in the primaries, so now they lie about Sarah.
Might be a germ of truth in there, but not likely.
I think the Mittbots should be PURGED NOW!
I expect Obama to win in 2012. I think it will take longer than 4 years to get the GOP to present a clear message. (tag line...)
I don’t know why it is so hard for someone to say “Money doesn’t belong to the government, don’t tread on me and if we must err, let us err on the side of life!”
Instead, we have the weenies trying to suggest John ‘Obama would make a fine President’ McCain was too negative and harsh. Good Lord!
I don’t know about gay marriage, but we sure have a lot of pansies reproducing in the GOP!
And Norton reports that it's about time someone found a nice cozy home to retire John McCain and a large clot of republican party hacks to...
cozy and far out of the way.
(OK, the president of France thing was pretty lame.)
This finger pointing and blaming is certainly making us look lame. Palin was a great VP Candidate and gave her all despite being used by the McCain camp as a scapegoat. I think we need not respond to this other than pointing out that Palin was a great candidate and accepted the VP spot on this longshot of a ticket because she puts her country before her own career. Sarah Palin proved that she is a great American.
I HATE THIS.
RNC attention:
Get these petty backbiting self absorbed short sighted elitists OFF the front pages or OUT of my party or I will get out of the party and go find the PUMAs.
Fox is/has been against Sarah Palin all along. They just hide it better than most. I also believe they were in the tank for Obama.
One thing is for certain. This woman was persecuted for her faith. God has big plans for Sarah. AND they may not include politics. We shall see.
Not Greta and not Sean.
