How's that big tent looking for the GOP today, eh?
With the Republican left out in force sliming Sarah Palin today, we desperately need to keep a record of these treacherous, back-biting vipers who are right now trying to destroy the one good thing to emerge for conservatives during this election cycle.
With any luck, this list can serve as an archive of the traitors in our midst who should NEVER get any support from Conservatives again. With these folks in our ranks, the conservative movement will never make any progress.
The purge should begin right now.
TOPICS: News/Current Events
KEYWORDS: 2008; 2008election; 2012; leperlist; mccain; sarah; sarahpalin; traitors; turncoats; weasellist

Let’s face it, McCain would have sucked as POTUS, so in the end, no big loss.

Mitt kept making the rounds of the news shows and putting McCain's ideas in the best possible light.
Well, prominent Romney-ites have been named above (Madden and Parker). Do you think they were just acting on their own when their actions serve so clearly to benefit Mitt? I doubt it.

Honest, but misspelled Palin. Sorry about that. Still recovering from a long out of town trip.

No,, its *not* wrong to “purge” people who are working as hard as they can against our interests. Thats just common sense.
Thats a false analogy to refer it to the USSR.

Specter has always been a loose cannon"Loose cannon" my A$$! He started out as a democrat, and as far as I'm concerned he's nothing but a quisling.
He already cost us our brightest light for a future President when Rick Santorum drank the Republican Unity Kool-Aid and supported Specter over the conservative Pat Toomey.
Hell. I'd have sent him a campaign contribution before that, and I live in florida!

Letting Cameron spew this garbage without a shred of proof puts him in the same gutter as the supermarket tabloids.
Email O’Reilly and tell him so! Tell him he’s no better than the “smear merchants” and “bombthrowers” he so righteously disdains.
All of Fox News should be ashamed, if not sued for libel. Cameron has proven himself worth of a job as deputy leg-tingler over at MSNBC. Screw the lot of ‘em!

Fox All Stars.
Might as well throw everyone at FOX on the list except Hannity and Kelly.

Purges are for Soviet Communists.
Utter nonsense. Who said this?
"A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers....If there are those who cannot subscribe to these principles, then let them go their way."
The GOP needs a purge like nobody's business.

"It seems to me that those who swore they would not vote for McCain out of "conscience" succeeded in electing a Marxist to the Presidency." The point you are missing is that Palin brought the vast majority of those folks BACK TO MCCAIN. Without her prescence on the ticket, McCain would have been obliterated.
Palin's presence is the only thing about the McCain campaign that actually WORKED.
To: Antoninus
Leave Sarah and her family alone. The election is over and we don’t need the slime bags making up the news so they get their names in the news.

How about his ENTIRE campaign team (with the exception of the Palin team). That NAILS it!
The Governor was the only one who had the guts to tell the truth.
Hold on for 4 years, then PALIN - JINDAL in 2012!

We have the opportunity to start over, so why are you dragging detritus from the He Whose Name We Will Never Speak Again's campaign into this?
There are better potential candidates out there, and its time we started trying to find our next president, and not backing the first person who comes to mind.
To: Antoninus
This is all so disgusting. I wonder how Alaskans are reacting to the way their governor has been treated.
I saw the fox news clip where they say Palin didn't know what countries were in NAFTA and thought Africa was a country. It's all hearsay AFAIK.
All I can find is the fox news youtube clip.
But Obama and Biden's gaffes, 57 states, Roosevelt, etc., little or no coverage.
This is all so utterly vile. Why must they scapegoat this woman after the left won?

What if Sarah Palin really did not know that South Africa was not a continent but a country, or which countries were in NAFTA? Other things being equal, an ill-informed candidate is more likely to lose, because the public will judge him or her to be less intelligent and qualfied.
Really? I heard a rumor that you smelled like mouldy cheese. Should I just assume it's true and write you off?

McCain selection was, presumably, to appeal to centrists, and therefore move votes from the dem column to the rep column.
The people who have championed refusal to vote for McCain split his conservative base. Palin “worked” by partially fixing that damage caused by the Republican version of PUMAs.

Ditto that - I just sent a big one to FOX abt Cameron - what a prospect for TMZ after the way he reported the back-stabbing of Palin. I think Krauthammer should go on the list regardless of his esteemed standing with conservatives - just a wake-up call. Certainly, all libertarians should be on the list - sorry but it’s GUTLESS to be one!

She is a threat to them and they feel the need to destroy her because of it.
For exactly this reason, we should support her even more strongly.
