The Republican Party is totally clueless. Period. Two weeks before the election—TWO WEEKS!—the North Carolina Republican Party sent an email around asking people to volunteer to get out the vote. When did they find out we were having an election?

Am I the only one who finds it ironic that the Conservative party in the UK has a high chance of winning their next elections, Mexico’s president Felipe Calderon is by our standards fairly conservative, and while Sarkozy in France isn’t our kind of conservative, he’s a far cry from the socialists that they used to have—and meanwhile back in the land of the free we just elected a neo-Marxist?
