Why not both?

Well, if they'd have actually followed through with the last Contract with America, I could certainly be more jazzed about another one. A balanced budget amendment would be a great start. So would a line item veto. Since the 'Pubbies failed on so many of the measures in the last contract, I think another contract could be successfully beaten back simply by the 'Rats arguing that it's a gimmick. We also need a leader who can clearly articulate Conservative principles and right now I don't see anyone taking on that task. Boehner certainly doesn't seem up to it.....

We should draft Rush and make Ann Coulter his VP, that way if they won the RATS would feel like we do now!
