LOL! Yeah cause it’s been OVER!
All the success in Iraq for not due to Hussein’s election.
All because Dems stayed the course through difficult and perilous times.
Wow, All Obama had to do was win the election and look at his success! He hasn’t even been sworn in yet and already he has healed a nation! /sarc
Look for more good news about Iraq coming out soon in the mainstream media.
amazing how that happened! could not be because the surge (thanks to mccain) worked. but get a liberal in office and war is suddenly good. prepare to soon hear about all the schools being built, peace in once war torn neighborhoods. all the good news they have sat on for YEARS will now be reported. all hail obama for bringing peace to the middle east. GAG!!
The nice thing about Obama being elected is all the problems in Iraq will be fixed, there be no more homeless and the birds will chirp and sing each morning, according to the media.
He will dither.
Let's hope our field commanders ignore Washington and fight back until there's no one left to fight.
It's an old technique ~ create on the ground the conditions of a resounding conquest and victory irrespective of what lesser lights seek back in the comforts of the distant imperial capital city.
We must continue to remind everyone that the success in Iraq has nothing to do with the democrats. They opposed success in Iraq and claimed it was a failure.
Do not let them take any of the credit.
This is George W. Bush’s victory.
Actually, this puts Obama’s titty in the wringer. He owes the far left to follow through and “get out of Iraq ASAP”. But, from a pragmatic international/political point of view it will be an unmitigated disaster to pull out and have the middle east collapse and melt into calamity and crisis.
This is to be expected. I talked to some soldiers back from Iraq and they have told me the same. They were complaining that the news media wasn’t giving the coverage that the better situation deserved. Is anyone surprised by this? We all know the news media is SCUM but this really highlights it. Now that the election is over we will get the good news. The problem is that the credit will not go to those who stayed the course. I had my problems with Bush on a number of issues but Iraq was not one of them.
In October 2008 we had the lowest number if US fatalities in Iraq since the beginning of the war in March 2003. 13 of our brave troops lost their life in Iraq last month and 7 were killed because of hostile fire.
God Bless President Bush and our brave troops who gave us VICTORY in Iraq.
Interesting that the MSM didn’t take or at least publicize any positive polls or news regarding Iraq until after the election.
No agenda there though.
But when the fight for Iraq wasn’t going well, the MSM reminded us of it on a nightly basis, including the ghoulish body count, politicizing their deaths to make Bush look bad.
The MSM are like vampires, but worse.
The Dems basically engaged in Treason by declaring the war as lost.
If we had an unbiased media, no Dem would get elected to anything above dog catcher.
I need to ping Allegra she might like to hear about this startling news.
Top of the hour news just a bit ago says 2 combat brigades, about 7,000 us troops, will be coming home earlier than scheduled .. I’ll see if a piece is out there.
If Obama can straighten out Afghanistan and not agitate Iraq and get Poland glazed, that would be a good start next year in the reign of Obama and Secretary of State Jean Claude Kerry’. That Joe Biden sure is a ‘prophet’, he sees things .. yaknow. ;-)
They’ll wait til a day after Bush leaves the Whitehouse to claim Barabbas Hussein Obama has won the war.
Troop reductions coming in Iraq, military officials say
