One of the aides tells CNN that campaign manager Rick Davis fired Scheunemann after determining that he had been in direct contact with journalists spreading "disinformation" about campaign aides, including Nicolle Wallace and other officials.
"He was positioning himself with Palin at the expense of John McCain's campaign message," said one of the aides.

I used to BURN when I heard idiots talking about putting either Powell or Rice on the ticket for 08. RHINOS and turncoats who were spat upon by most blacks because they were on a republican administration, but then he supports THE ONE. I’m sure Rice voted for Obama too.

good question, start at state levels and clear out the dead wood, look at Utah, Cannon was ousted in the primary and the GOP who took him on won. Now I am decidedly anti-Romney, but I really like GOP Gov. Jon Huntsman... he just won re-election and said he won’t run for another term.

The segment on O’Reilly was pretty hard hitting. Carl Cameron clearly talked to MANY aides who are leaking this stuff. This needs to be cleared up. I’d like to hear Sarah Palin respond to this stuff and forcefully defend herself. What does she have to lose now? If what Carl Cameron said is true, I have no idea why Palin would refuse interview preparation.
Be senatorial and tell everyone how qualified you are over and over and refuse to get down and dirty with a socialist who knows no such boundries and hence lose.

That was probably the lamest thing he said during the whole campaign. “You don’t have to be afraid of Obama as president” and that after he asks us to “fight with him”
