Isn’t it amazing that your dear mom hadn’t known his abortion stance? She would never have voted for him if she had, it sounds like. I don’t think she’s the only one, either... People hear only what they want to hear. I’m sure she loves the babies or she wouldn’t be in that position. God bless her for her work, those babies deserve the chance to live.
My elderly Catholic mother voted for Obama. She said that McCain was old and if he died in office “that woman” would be President and she couldn’t do the job. I explained that the media created the “Stupid” image, that actually Sarah Palin has an impressive record. I also asked if they hadn’t mentioned in church that Obama is pro-abortion. She didn’t know anything about that. I would say the Catholic Church didn’t make that clear to their flock. I’m kicking myself—I had no idea she would vote for Obama. She’s always voted Republican. I would have talked about this stuff BEFORE the election if I had known she would do that.
“Best” comment heard on talk radio today—”There’s nothing wrong with the fairness doctrine. You guys lost the election and you need to go away. That’s democracy.”
Thanks.
She works 16 hours a day with mediocre pay and I am not looking forward to the days when the work stress is coupled with post traumatic stress from witnessing infanticide. Not looking forward to those days at all.
[Damn you, Barack Obama, damn you to hell.]
