That adds up to “Taxation without Representation”. They can't represent us if they do not know what it is they are representing.

This, and many more reasons over the years have us to the point where this is being contemplated. We are Americans. Unfortunately, are Representatives are no longer upholding our constitution.They have not for years. All 3 branches.
