How is this different than Susan Sarandon or Alec Baldwin saying they were leaving the country if a Republican won?

I’ve pondered the thought. The establishment of his national security force would send me over the edge along with the trashing of the 2nd Amend.

TX native living in CA now.

I have been considering this for a long time.

I love America and the Constitution, but the Federal Government has overreach and violated it’s authority. It will only get worse now.

We as a people have every right to seperate from the union.

It is supposed to be “State first”. America is supposed to be a Union of inependent states.

I say we just peel the country like an orange. Peel off the blue states and leave the REAL America. That’s where the real ‘meat’ is.

Well, Okies don’t usually agree with Texans...but here in this state succeeding from the union has been discussed for the past week. It’s amazing how many people feel this way. Once Obama starts putting into place his socialistic policies, I honestly would not be surprised if their is serious discussions on this subject. As for “country first.” If Obama gets his way our country will no longer be the America we know and love.

We have to elect state legislators who will vote for secession. It’s the first thing voted on every session. We need to quit doing it as tradition and really do it.

I was all for this in 2000 but it didn’t get much traction. I wrote my state rep and didn’t get a reply.

Okay...but you’d have to dump the huge areas of Dallas County and Harris County because they voted by large majorities for Obama. Haven’t checked yet, but feel sure Jefferson County (Beaumont area) and El Paso County did the same. This means we’d have to slice and dice hundreds of thousands of people and where would we put them? Re-education camps? Oops, this is beginning to sound like Obama.

Think we had better go with winning hearts and minds back to our conservative principles. Or come live in Montgomery County with several hundreds of thousands of people who are about 90% Republican. Y’all come.
