The "I'm pissed off" thread
freerepublic | jbwbubba

Posted on 11/05/2008 9:13:23 AM PST by jbwbubba

Yes its a vanity!!!

Who would like to see some Republicans come out and say I'm pissed off we lost? I'm mad as hell, and would like to break something. I'm already mad and seeing Republican after republican come out and talk about the "historic" context of this election, ticks me off even more!! Hell I expected McCain to give a gracious concession speech; but I almost expected him to say "why yes I actually voted for Obama myself". I wish any republican would show some freaking passion, show that you actually give a damn you lost

You may be the first published casualty, and sorry to hear that, but I got my 2-week notice last night as I was leaving work.

I’m thinking about a Christmas job....

Anyone with ideas, FR mail me, thanks.

To pay for all of the gimme programs I see much higher taxes. You tax me more, I get a tighter grip on my money.
I won’t tip as much.
I cut down on amount I give to charity.
I don’t go out to eat as much.
I don’t go to movies(i stopped going about a year ago)
I do more for myself and stop using someone to mow my yard.
I do more home projects myself.
I don’t travel as much.
I cut back on services of all types.
I will save as much as I can and those in the service industry will miss some of my money. Millions more will do the same. These are the things people do during hard financial times.

Changes such as these lead to the loss of jobs and cutbacks in the service industry. Many will wonder why they were let go from their jobs. Many in the service industry are in the age bracket that was totally brain washed and wanting this magical change. The change is coming but I doubt it is what they really expect.

I walked into work this morning and about 20 of us received this.

I am sorry to hear of your experience.
I suggest, if at all possible, that you start "sharing the wealth" and take the maximum unemployment benefits that are available.

I am sure the "Share the wealth" types will see to it that it's at least a year, perhaps longer.

I’m already stocking up on ammo. We may be allowed to keep our guns, but 0 and company will look to regulate ammo.

There is no profit in pouting the day after. What’s done is done.

In the state of nature, there are predators, and there are prey.

Good luck.

At one point they camera showed Sarah during McCains speech, she was choking back the tears, I felt for her and wondered what she was thinking, too bad, oh well ....

Perhaps Sarah is weeping for all the children who will be "put down" under Obama. Her opportunity to be a national advocate for children like her son is gone. A great big THANK YOU to 62 million American jackasses...you know who you are, and you know WHO will hold you accountable.

It’s not her fault that you’re upset about the election. It doesn’t make a point, it doesn’t help anyone. It’s pointless and mean.

No it's not.

And since this is not a good time to be suspended or banned by Jim Robinson, I'll leave it at that.

HDP!

I’m so sorry to hear that. My son’s company is floating talk of furloughs and layoff this morning. Didn’t take long did it?

I left it all on the field yesterday. I did my part and held on to my hope til the end, shed some tears with a few more still to come I am sure.

But that’s it. What is done is done. We have local races to run in the near future and a very important election coming up in 2010. I will sit back and watch that idiot do the wrong thing every time a decision has to be made and use it to the best advantage.

And most importantly, I am going to pray very hard for my country and even harder that the GOP took the slap upside the head that it needed to bring us back to conservatism. As Rush says “it works every time its tried”.

Exactly! I would much rather have a moderate McCain loss than have a conservative loss.
Conservatism was not rejected in this election,a moderate lost to a liberal.

I guess that’s the sign of good businesspeople: they plan for eventualities, don’t waste time.

On the other hand, a gubmint job might be the ticket. Thanks for your thoughts, hope your son’s job is okay.

“I am excited that we finally broke down the racial divisions once and for all “

Really? I think we proved once and for all the real racists left in the US are the majority of blacks. I’m sorry to say it, but the vote bears it out.

Flay your Flag today
Upside down and at half mast.

Thanks for the reminder!
I recall a recent suggestion that I never thought I'd actually have to try. I better order before they run out. I weep for my country.

Good luck with the job search! You are a freeper, so you are one step ahead already!

If I were the owner of a company that needed to downsize; I would first do a quick survey or the parking lot to see which employees had those pro-obama bumper stickers. They would be the first to go! And if I could do it without being sued, I would let them know that “their new president” was the reason for their being the first ones to asked to leave.
