I want to get some things off my chest, without appearing to be preaching to everybody:
To all: I’ve always tried to keep my posts somewhat short and succinct, and will try to do so now. I willingly admit that I prayed regularly that McCain would win the election. But, as we can see, my prayers, and all the other prayers in the same vein, were not answered. I have not lost faith in God and want to believe that He has not forsaken us. I will not moan and groan and make dire predictions about the next 4 years. I will not belittle and bad-mouth the election or the voters. That would only bring me down to the level of the Democrats. I assure everybody that they are prowling Free Republic today, gleefully reporting back to their own kind how miserable we are. I refuse to give them that satisfaction. I already have my own personal list of people whose movies, songs, shows, etc. I boycott. It will increase somewhat. I will not show my fellow employees, by word or action, how I feel about this turn of events. I WILL keep a detailed journal of everything that happens when the new regime takes over. I suggest that a lot of other folks here do the same. Last but not least, please fellow FReepers, remember that God works in mysterious ways. Perhaps this is a test He is putting us through. We will have to wait and see what happens next.

Friends, THIS is how we respond. Go to work, be of good cheer. Don't sulk, don't pout, don't quit.
This man is not the Antichrist. For one, don't you think the Antichrist would have married better? Secondly, do you honestly think the Antichrist would need a teleprompter? (Laugh at them folks, it is going to make the next 4 years easier.)
We only have 2 years until the midterm elections. Find your candidate, get behind him or her. Knock on doors, make calls, talk to people.
My husband and I were talking about this just yesterday after we voted. God always answers prayers, just not always in the way we would like. Sometimes, as many people know, we have to go through a trial/tribulation period before His hand in our destiny becomes clear.
