McCain was the product of a primary process that has been set up to elect precisely the type of person the RNC wants.

Republicans are smart but da-um. The New Hampshire primary was set up a hundred years ago and has been hiding under your bed all this time just to getcha. The primary process and order is essentially the same as it has been since Reagan.

McCain picked her because of her record of reform and fiscal restraint. Six months from now she will be back as a competent small state governor with tales of a Great Adventure to tell her grandchildren.

The Republican party does not support our candidates with funding. Our candidates mount their own campaigns on a shoe-stirng while the Democrats pour millions into the effort. Is that how you successfully support poeple you truly want to make it to the Senate or House?

So anotherwords you plan on doing exactly the same thing next time. Is that about it? You plan on playing the game the same way. You plan on picking the most liberal candidate. You plan on spending months trying to convince your own team it was a good idea. You'll spend more months trying to convince others that even though you don't think he's a good candidate, they should vote for him. And when he loses, you'll trash everyone who told you all along that Democrats would not vote for a Republican(D) before they would vote for a Democrat(D). Great plan.
