That was my first thought as well — Mike Pence with Eric Cantor — both are articulate and not afraid to stand up! They were part of the drill here, drill now.
But Cantor was one of the lead Republicans in the House rounding up GOP votes for the bailout.
I think Republicans going along with it is what lead to their losses, including McCain’s.
