He won’t do it, plus he probably will vote for some of the social stuff.
To: Republican Extremist
One would think he would do so. He owes nothing to the Dems.

With all due respect, we have enough RINOs in the senate.
Lieberman will still vote his conscience without being an official republican.

If Arlen Specter can be a Republican, Joe Lieberman certainly can too.

That $10 I donated to him in 2006 looks like a better investment every day....

What's Joe got to lose? All his democratic friends stabbed him in the back.

Uh, no thanks. The Republican Party has suffered enough from RINOs without adding another one, don’t you think?
Let’s go in the other direction. Let’s get the party back on the path Ronald Reagan set it upon before the centrists steered it into the rocks.

He can’t—he’d never win re-election again if he became a Republican.

After listening to him on Beck’s show this AM, I think he will caucus with the Republicans, especially it if means avoiding a filibuster proof majority.

They are going to treat joe like a pariah, yet still expect him to caucus with them.
I never understood why he still did after they screwed him in the primary.
I sense he may retire after this term, so for the remainder I wish he’d caucus with the minority and screw the dems back.

I was at local Republican offices doing some phone volunteering when Joe showed up to speak to us folks.(To me,he always sounds like Cap’n Crunch when he speaks).I shook hands with him. When I first offered my hand to him ,he gave me a look like I asked him to scrub a lizard. I just sayin’.

It's more likely a RINO or three will go to the Dems. I'd say maybe one in the Senate, several in the House. Some politicians with no or weak principals just want to be on the winning side. Plus it's easier to brink home the pork if one is in the majority.

Have to say I don’t feel sorry for Joe. He knew the party he was in and he should have seen it coming. And I don’t want him in the republican party unless a new conservative party is started.
