The fools of Murtha's district deserve him.

And they've got him again.

Whatever.
Nobody wants to be in power in the next two years when the crap seriously hits the fan.

We haven’t even begun to see the financial mess unravel. Let it be on their watch.

That’s just great. A real American patriot. He deserves it.

Murtha won because he really does represent that district (and a patriotic ex-military conservative doesn’t).

*shakes head*

The Chinese used to say it was a curse to live in interesting times.

And things certainly are...interesting...this election.

In almost everyway imaginable, Pennsylvania has been the biggest-state (commonwealth) disappointment of the night...Murtha, Kanjorski, Carney...the margin of Obama’s victory. What a mess that once proud place has become.

The voters in Murtha’s district have proved that the “ear marks” and “pork” are addictive......

The bastards lack any confidence of caring for themselves without the “ear marked pork” Murtha extracts from the nation's taxpayers and send to feed the racist rednecks in his district....

Once you give the mob the right to vote your dollars into their pockets — the jig is up. Literally!

Republicans next time need to forget about PA and spend those resources elsewhere. Where? I haven’at a clue.

The people in that district got what they deserved. If you let your rep run you down on national TV like that and still return him to office then you deserve him.

I’m stunned. This creep lies about our military, which effectively provides aid and comfort to the islamists, insults his constituency, and STILL gets re-elected. This is a microcosm of what the country, as a whole, did yesterday.
Like in 1992, the country just handed the car keys to a drunk driver only this time it’s worse. We’ve just elected an arrogant affirmative action baby with a chip on his shoulder who, like Herr Hitler, has told people exactly what he wants to do (given the limited detail he’s provided). If past is prolouge and if his word can be believed on such matters as abortion and “spreading the wealth around”, this country is screwed. The congress is much more leftist than 16 years ago and, despite not getting to a filibuster-proof number of 60 in the senate, will attempt to steer WAY left. The looters are in control. We are becoming Europe. I’ve never been so ashamed for the United States than I am right now.

Unbelievable. Apparently Murtha has his constituency accurately pegged and they don't mind being outed as racist rednecks.

As an Appliachain from Tennessee, I was insulted by Murtha and suprised by this. Moveon.org came and stoled it and bought it at the last minute

So I guess the next step is the military will begin opting out and retirements will begin as soon as possible.

Who thinks our military will choose to remain under these circumstances?

Prop. 8 passing and the GOP re-claiming Tom Delay’s old House Seat were the only two gleams of light from Tuesday night.

There should be term limits. Then we wouldn’t have the same bunch of worthless a-holes sitting in congress for decades.
