McCain never called Obama out (in one debate!) on Obama's tax plan - He allowed Obama to cleverly / slyly not say that his tax plan was AFTER the GWB tax cuts expire....nor did McCain call him out for calling "welfare", tax-cuts!

That is what Obama did - He took what is really called welfare (giving people money they are now owed or entitled to) and simply called it at "tax-cut for 95% of people". McCain never called him out on this once...

When the GOP losses the tax debate.....you usually loses the race 9 out of 10 times.

The war that is now over within the GOP....is at least the RHINOs are out. They lost. Their hero RHINO just got his as$ handed to him by the most inexpericned, most liberal guy to ever run for POTUS.

Yes, and when Sen. McCain "got tough," he should have focused less on "Ayers" directly, and more on the "pattern of deceit and secrecy" (or whatever good catchy phrase you want to call it). People didn't care about "Ayers," per se, but when I listed the time-after-time that he hid things (BC vault copy) or threw associates under the bus, it began to sink in.

Oh, please.

McCain and Palin just climbed the biggest mountain ever put in front of a Republican candidate ever: a hugely unpopular Republican president, a Great Depression-like economic scare (ongoing), a "historic" opponent, the wrap-up years of a long and distant war, the list goes on.

Obama HID NOTHING about his Marxism. Anyone with a brain should and could have known everything they needed to know to choose between a Marxist and a Republican.

McCain was kicking butt until the October Surprise of the Crash of 2008 and the bailout. Had that not occurred just when it did, we'd be in a very different place tonight.

All the talk of if McCain had only done this and only done that is GARBAGE.

NOT A SINGLE AMERICAN HAS ANY EXCUSE FOR CHOOSING A MARXIST FOR PRESIDENT.

This one is on the American people, not John McCain, Sarah Palin or the RNC. The American people know what they are getting OR HAD EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO KNOW. Period.

P.S. As late as this week, there were freepers whining that they didn't know if they could bring themselves to vote for McCain---EVEN GIVEN ALL THEY KNOW ABOUT MARXIST OBAMA.

So don't put this on anyone but the American voter.

You are exactly right. McCain did not expose Obama's phony tax plan. Which is why McCain was at bottom of my list. Romney or Rudy are much better at talking economy, the #1 issue on voter's mind. McCain deserves to lose based on the inept campaign he ran. Don't blame it on Palin either. McCain talked more about earmarks which are insignificant dollar amounts.
