I just heard Carl Cameron on Fox say that many in McCain’s camp “whispered” that McCain felt Obama, as a historic candidate, “should” win.
Is that the same as hinting that McCain THREW this election?

Possibly. More likely it's posturing in the face of an inevitable four to eight years of President Obama. And a clear sign that McCain intends to be much more of a Bob Michel-type "team player/loyal opposition" when he returns to the Senate

..he just finished as many of us thought he would months ago. Not a true conservative. The only thing that threw me was Sarah Palin. I thought she would change the story--she was a light but the people loved the darkness.
