According to the Fox map, the polls are still open for 20 more minutes. What the heck is the hurry?

I don’t know what you are watching but it is not Fox News. Delware polls do not close till 8 PM EST. That is still 15 mins away. They have not called Delaware yet just like they did not call WV before their polls closed at 7:30 EST like you posted.
You really need to stop posting calls for races before that states polls are closed.

What is that, 3/8 of an electoral vote?

Geez, how can they do that?
They have 0% precincts reporting and they’re calling the states. As I watched, the map was changing from red or blue to tan and back again.
First it was 13-3, now it’s 8-3 electoral votes.
*sigh* >:(
It’s too early....

It may be a “no-brainer” but their still calling these races way too soon. In a lot of these states only 10-15% of the polls have closed. That’s just too early to call anything.

Madam/Sir,
I am only posting what is on FoxNews.com.
A hundred other Freepers can confirm what I have posted. I have no desire to make the news. I solely report it.
Thanks,
Software Engineer

Fox News is not calling states to early. They have only called three states and all three states were called after the polls closed.
They have called Kentecky and W.Virgina for McCain and Vermont for Obama.
Those are the only states that have been called by Fox News.
Please don’t listin to the guy that is posting these threads on states being called before thier polls are even closed.

I'm sorry, but you should look at Fox's news site, assuming that you have web access. /s Here's the link:
http://elections.foxnews.com/states_map/index.html
I saw it myself--they 'called' Deleware for Obama, then 'called' West Virginia for McCain. A few minutes later they 'uncalled' them. It's their problem, not the poster's problem.

They are crossing these projections on foxnews.com.
I saw it too. They have since taken DE down.
SC to McCain. No shock there.

Then maybe he should post his threads correctly and write Fox News.com has called state for candiate. instead of just saying fox news. Cause Fox news that I am watching on TV has not called one single state fbefore that state’s polls closed.

You might not have noticed, but he gave a link to FoxNews.com. If he'd just been saying he heard it on TV, it'd be a vanity, right?

It is that Fox Interactive map. It comes and goes. Calls a state and then you can’t even get the information to display at county levels. Mine finally locked up.
Cool idea. Implementation? Maybe it just has too many hits.
