It is possible.

This morning, I saw an elderly gentleman voting and he had never used the computerized machines before and he kept calling the poll wprker in to help him.

I don’t know the actual procedure if it appears the machine messed up, but I know that in Virginia on the electronic machine, you have to push “confirm.” And there are times it doesn’t confirm the vote as being recorded. I would assume at that point the election official would have to reset and it certainly would look like a person is voting twice.

Anyway, whatever double voting DOES happen almost certainly doesn’t happen the way the person described it. People don’t just stand there and vote twice for just anybody to observe.
