I just talked to one of my best Team McCain sources who told me that heading into today all the key battleground polls were moving hard and fast in their direction. The source, hardly a perma-optimist, thinks it will be a long night, but that McCain is going to win. So add this with the new Battleground poll (Obama +1.9 only) and the rising stock market...

People, you have to realize that states move in groups. It's topographic. The reliable analysts know this. For example, if a GOP candidate takes PA, he is going to take OH, because OH polls 5 points higher for a Pub candidate than PA. And if Mac takes OH, he is going to take VA, because VA polls a few points higher than OH.
Bottom line: if PA falls for Mac, then a slew of other states will fall for Mac. So, keep your eyes on PA people, if it goes for McCain he WILL be the next POTUS. BTW, ain't it interesting that Mac spent so much time in typically Democratic strong holds in PA?

Interesting...but although architecture is you say a liberal profession, is your group considered liberal? And if so, how do you explain their support for McCain/Palin?
I am curious about such things. TIA.

I have two “friends” that are Hussein supporters. One registered to late to vote...the other went to the polls, got into a wrong line, someone “touched” his arm to direct him to the proper line...he got pissed and walked out without voting. He, he, he...

If Obama takes PA and OH he can win. If he doesnt take them both, it will be next to impossible for him.Wrong, Mac can't win without OH, but he can lose PA and win the election. Remember 2000 and 2004.

Exactly. Plus I think that would signal that the Upper Midwest is in play. If the bitter clinger/PUMA vote is enough to win PA for McCain over the urban+black+youth vote, then I think we'd see the same effect in WI, MN, & IA. Plus what about MI?

This story does not say that battleground states are moving hard and fast for McCain (implying exit polling data) it says that as of last night, ‘polls’ in these states were moving in the McCain camps direction.
Stop performing a disservice by hyping folks (which could possibly have a negative affect).

I was referring to Obama throughout that entire sentence.

If BHO wins Fla it will be almost impossible for Mac to be elected. If BHO wins two of your Four Its over for Mac.
