How is the voting going where you live? Reports from here indicate a huge turnout so far. We must keep up the good news throughout the day and keep momentum going forward. We must see this day through--tell everyone you meet to go and vote.
Help them see what you value.
Cant someone comment without specificity at first? I was simply trying to generate responses from folks. Truth is: I already began this conversation at 8:30am and was trying to stimulate further response. Sorry for not posting appropriately...

Sure you can. I just made a suggestion and said please. ( :
Ten times more people in North East Alabama that I have ever seen before. Looks very good for Sarah and McCain.
Yellow dog dems voting for Sarah.
I don't think Obama has the youth vote as nailed down as people think.

Sounds like good news out of OH. I just hope there aren’t a lot of Republicans voting for zer0. If that turns out to be true then the IBD poll just might have been right.
We look forward to your OH updates. I am getting my hopes up, maybe a little too much now. But if M-P do not win, at least it is good to know there are plenty of good conservatives out there and we will support one another in tough times.
No waiting in line to vote. WE walked in, voted and left. We don't have that many minorities who live in our precinct.
Those who voted EARLY had to wait a half-hour and upwards.
God Bless McCain/Palin on this day.

I live in Virginia Beach, VA. My polling place had over 300 people waiting at 7:00(polls opened at 6:00). I waited a little over a hour to vote. Passed by 2 other polling place and the parking lots were very full. So in the Beach area very large turnout.
Tell us somethin’ we don’t know, why dontcha?!?!
;-)
In Texas we have early voting two weeks before an election.
Winter Park, FL...Red area, but a significant number of Obama signs in the neighborhood. I drove by the two elementary schools where voting is happening. I saw full parking lots, but no lines outside. We voted early, absentee.

Rain in San Diego, that should keep a few rats at home.
This was the 5th presidential election in which I have participated at this polling place. I always go to vote at 10:00 AM because, in the past, there has never been a line at that time.
This morning I arrived at 10:00 and had to wait in line for the first time ever. I was the 257th person to vote. That is 10% of our entire town's population and probably 50% of the people assigned to this polling place.
I feel this is a good indicator of what is happening nationally, as Alabama is a red state and turn out does not have the effect on our electoral votes that it has in other states. If my little town is turning out in droves to vote this election, I guarantee it means the rednecks nationally will be doing the same thing...IF, that is, we can let go of our guns and our God long enough!!!
Here is rainy southern Orange County, California, the voting and waiting took about 30 minutes all together. That has NEVER happened before. And I remember waiting to vote in 2000!

Suburban MD. Voted at 7:30am, 30 minutes in and out. Moderate turnout. Age, gender, & racially mixed crowd but surprisingly no 18-25’s. Or maybe not that surprising, they could have been sleeping in after the pre-election Obama bacchanal from the night before.
Upon arriving was approached in the parking lot by someone from a Teacher’s Association to let me know who they recommended. I already knew their choice was unacceptable, so I politely declined a conversation and went inside.
Who wears a tee-shirt with a giant picture of Obama’s face on it to the polls? The psycho chick who canceled out my vote, that’s who. Still, the change we really needed was to throw the bums out of congress, and I did my best with that.
No exit pollers at this location. The Libertarians were lying in wait for me in 2000, but they were a no-show as well this year.
Get out and vote today and prevent our nation’s takeover for at least another four years. The country you save may be your own.
Major snowstorm in my area of Utah.
Attention Colorado West Slope - you may want to vote early if this storm moves your way.
Just voted.
No lines.
1 for the white haired guy and Sarah Palin.
San Leandro, California; checking in, voted at 7:20am, no lines, no waiting. McCain/Palin 08!!
