CNSNews.com) - A loophole in a Massachusetts state law has allowed Zeituni Onyango - Barack Obama’s aunt and an illegal immigrant - to live in state-funded public housing in Boston since 2003, even though a federal immigration judge ordered Onyango to leave the country in 2004 after her request for asylum was denied.
The Boston Housing Authority (BHA) told CNSNews.com that illegal immigrants like Onyango can qualify for the state-funded housing in Massachusetts because, unlike federally funded programs, Massachusetts forbids the BHA from even asking about an applicant’s immigration status.

Here’s a new thought: When the States violate Federal Law, they are no longer able to receive any Federal funding. I wonder how many will start obeying the law then?
Obama is a multi-millionare with a house worth millions, but doesn’t take care of his extended family.
Instead, he expects the government to do it. This is the liberal approach — let government take care of people, using someone else’s money.
That’s why Biden’s “charity giving” was less than a thousand dollars a year, while he made over a quarter million dollars in some years.
Liberals expect government to work as charity, and don’t feel obligated to give anything except for their time and effort to elect more liberals so the government will steal more money from people and give it to others.

It’s amazing isn’t it, that we have “sanctuary cities” where immigration laws won’t be enforced, and gov’t agencies such as this housing authority that want to be politically correct and not inquire about immigration status. Unbelievably sadly amazing that these attitudes have pervaded so much of government policy.

Back when “comprehensive immigration reform” was the topic of the day
here at FR, I remember there was a thread reporting that in Boston
the public housing prioritized available units to go to illegal immigrants
BEFORE veterans of the US Military.
IIRC, after that was publically exposed the Boston authorities said
that had been changed.

By the way, I’m sure Obama will move his auntie into The Lincoln Bedroom
while she awaits her ICE hearings...

If she has money to give away, why is she in subsided housing? Seems she should use her extra money to repay the housing authority as a show of thanks for the help she is getting.
This is why conservatives give more to charity than liberals. Liberals expect government to do any and all charitable work. Their philosophy is that gov’t should do more to solve every conceivable social problem. Conservatives give to charity because they know gov’t can’t and shouldn’t be expected to do everything.
And contrary to politically correct belief, conservatives do have a social conscience and want to help those less fortunate. It’s a liberal “urban legend” that conservatives have no compassion, while the liberals allegedly have compassion, because they want more gov’t programs. It’s a vicious circle in the liberal mind.
All those great and wonderful patriots and Americans who fought for the Republic, for freedom and liberty must be looking down on us from Heaven now and shake their heads in disbelief at what has become of this nation. From a God fearing, freedom and liberty loving Republic, to a homosexual marriage, drug crazed, alcohol induced, Marxists hell. All in less than 16 years since the fall of the Soviet Marxist Empire. Lenin, Stalin, Marx, must be doing the jig in hell at the sight of this.

That is interesting because when my Mother in law was applying for subsidize senior housing, she had to prove that she was a US citizen. We had to wait 3 weeks to get her birth certificate from Boston. Her drivers License, SS Card wasn’t good enough. Makes me wonder how many more illegals there are that are taking apartments from those who legally qualify.

Secure the borders, deport ALL illegals AND incarcerated foreigners(there is absolutely no reason why American taxpayers should have to pay SEVEN AND A HALF BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR to incarcerate other countries’ criminals) It's not like we are long on prison cells and short on criminals! There are 300K foreigners incarcerated throughout America. Just think how much safer America would be if we could lock up 300K more AMERICAN criminals!
