Normally it does not these days as NH is getting more and more Democratic.

However, this one time, I will be curious. Not that it means much statistically, but I want to see how the all white population of this tiny hamlet vote. It may be a harbinger of the way the NE election goes

Here are the results from the 2000 election:

General Election: (27 votes)

* George W. Bush - 21
* Albert A. Gore Jr. - 5
* Ralph Nader - 1

Here are the results from the 2004 election:

General Election: (26 voters, 9 using absentee ballots)[2]

* George W. Bush - 19
* John Kerry - 7

For various reasons, I’m expecting to see Obama do better than Gore or Kerry. It will be interesting to see what happens though.

Southern NH is more blue(courtesy of MA. migrants). Northern NH to the Canadian Border is solid Red.
Population centers are in the southern half unfortunately

In 2004, New Hampshire turned Blue so the vote for Bush meant nothing. Southern New Hampshire is now Blue due to an influx of liberals moving up from Massachusetts.

Unfortunately. I think Obama will take it unless PUMAs cross over for McCain.

I think the “polite” way to talk about NH is to say that it’s become “unpredictable”. Who really ever knows what NH voters will do?

They're famously independent and ornery. When the MSM picked Obama they went for Hillary. The MSM picked Guiliani, they went for McCain. The MSM picks Obama they may just pick McCain to show they don't care what the media thinks. Gotta love NH's sense of humor.

Well, going 7 for the last 12 IS about the same as Greenspan’s stated 60% accuracy rate, so there is that.

There’s a small little community by the name of Hill, NH that has selected the presidential winner since the 1940’s. Population around 500. Located in the Lake Region of NH.

I get the feeling that the people of Dixville Notch are going to pretend to be progressive and I wouldn’t be surprised if the whole town voted for Obama.

We’ll also be getting the results from Hart’s Location, NH.

Here are the results from the 2000 election:

General Election: (30 votes)

George W. Bush - 17
Al Gore - 13

Here are the results from the 2004 election:

General Election: (31 votes)

George W. Bush - 16
John Kerry - 14
Ralph Nader - 1

So, it may actually be more interesting to see the results from Hart’s Location.

Well, they all didn’t vote for Obama. However...

I guess that means there are still some racists and rednecks in Dixville Notch. Who woulda thought?
