Hank Williams Jr. hit the high notes for the McCain-Palin ticket Monday, appearing here at a rally with Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
Williams performed the "National Anthem" and then segued right into "McCain - Palin Tradition," a song he wrote earlier this month that uses the melody from his '70s hit, "Family Tradition." Here's the first verse:
The left wing liberal media have Always been a real close knit family But, most of the American People Don't believe em anyway ya see
Country music is pretty prevalent in Palin's recent events. She walked on stage today to Dolly Parton's "9 to 5" and she campaigned all Sunday with Gretchen "Redneck Woman" Wilson.
Not sure I get your drift.
