Hey, what’s $100,000 of the $250,000...just chump change....
Chump change? No, the definition of chump change is the amount of money Barrack has given to charity.
Hussein’s worshiper on MTV probably didn’t have the guts to ask his Messiah about how many people will be affected by higher prices/layoffs/etc. because of the increased costs to those making more than $120,000—according to Bill Richardson.
I know someone personally who is facing a pay cut of 33%...a small businessman employees them. The Obama economy may eventually SHUT HIM DOWN completely, and they’ll lose their job. But 1/3 of their income is in danger immediately.
Nice job, Hussein.
There must be a chump born every minute!
I swear to God, I miss Bill Clinton.
Hussein is a kook
Lets go just over 250000 - say 300000. 4% is 12000, or 1000 dollars a month out of your budget, in addition to the taxes you already pay. 1000 per month is not chump change to me, and I will probably fall into his upper bracket somewhere (just barely). Now add the alternative minimum tax and you will see why I am trying to figure out how to reduce my income - I will actually bring more home if I do.
Um...how many “young people” make $250K or more? Really?
Oh that's right, zero. Zero from the Zero.
Pure, unadulterated, wealth redistribution at every twist and turn. The entitlement pimps and whores are out of control.
Get them off of welfare and give them a sense of hope? Or, keep them on welfare and never let them experience success for themselves.
To 0bama:
Ok then,chump...howzabout YOU provide the change?
Oh,that’s right,not you-it would be ungodly.
What a piece of trash.
On the average, the government takes over 47% of your money through some form of tax. Obama’s pie in the sky BS, well, is just BS. Remember, we revolted against England for 2%. And while we were boiled slowly like a frog, we are now handing over trillions in taxes and getting little for it.
Good grief - 3.6% of $250K is $9,000! In my book, that’s not “chump change”.
He’s such a thug. I can’t stand to even look at him anymore.
College students should not approach these tax hikes from a standpoint of being in college only. Once they are in the workforce, they face the same high taxes at a time when they need as much of their earnings as possible.
If one gets a engineering or medical degree one will be starting out around $50,000 or more. If married and the spouse has the same level of education, then the couple will be at $100,000 in the first year. In a couple of years this couple will be at $150,000 a year.
The last thing young Americans need is higher taxes. At this point in their lives they have alot of debt from college. How do they save to buy a house and have a family.
College is really such a short period of time for ones life, but being in the workforce goes on for decades.
Obama dpeaking his his Millenial constituency...the most ignorant, selfish, and laziest generation in American history.
Remember, that extra 4% will only apply to the income above the higher tax threshold — the higher tax rates aren't average rates, but marginal rates.
My concern is still the marginal tax rate hike will hurt incentives, at both ends of the income scale (at the low end because of subsidy phase-outs), and therefore raise “chump change” in terms of additional revenue to pay for promises made that amount to anything but “chump change.”
I think Obama will have to break some promises here.
The man is a total SOB. I'm ready to revolt - someone ping me when the revolution begins.
