Internals and hidden info in a lot of these polls are not meshing with the over all Obama lead of 5 to 10 percent.

I really don’t understand these analyses. I don’t get how anyone knows who is voting for whom if they haven’t counted any votes yet. Can someone please explain.

I think you’re right. I’m trying to temper my optimism here, but this looks very good for McCain.

If that's accurate, McCain should overtake him with likely voters tomorrow. Obama's stuck at 48%. I think his actual percentage of the popular vote will be much lower.

i dont think this sounds good for obamarama.

Impossible. The Messiah has already congratulated McCain on having run a good race. It is over - Obama won.

Don't even bother counting tomorrow's votes.

Time to go back to angrily cleaning your gun or reading your bible.

Just out of curiousity....is there a way to check the archives and see what they were reporting between Kerry and Bush and how far ahead Kerry was, etc at this time?

It would be interesting to see a comparison between the polls of 2004 and the polls for tomorrows election...

The way I understand this paragraph, they are not talking about D vs. R that voted, but votes for Obama vs. McCain. Is this the first such poll we’ve seen? They could have explained this better — the bias of the writer is obvious...

The Live Desk is the worst show on cable news next to anything on MSNBC.

Horrible.

They ALWAYS have a way to spin it in Obama’s favor and bash McCain.

I believe its to McCains advantage for the polls to show Obama ahead.

When the Obama folks see the long lines for voting they will think there is no use to vote since everyone has said Obama has won.

The only thing that can be counted is the numbers from each party that VOTED—not HOW they voted. So these numbers mean little.

What if it's exit polling? That has been fairly accurate, historically.

Given how much Fauxbama has been trying to “bank votes” up front, if this is true, he’s toast.

Just a few more hours folks.

Bob Beckel as usual finds a way to spin this fact into a win for Obama saying that it is an increase for Catholics for Obama and that white men are way up for Obama and that new voters always vote on November 4th.
