My plea to undecideds and people voting third party

I am pleading with people who may have decided not to vote McCain because of the screwed up policies that were not conservative to please reconsider and vote for him. Obama is too far left and I don't believe our country could ever bounce back from him being president. I would also vote third party if I didn't see the danger involved with Obama being president. I do not favor amnesty and I know both guys favor it. But McCain is in favor of securing our border, while Obama calls ICE agents terriorists.

A traitor to what?

To our country, to our cause, to our children. This is for all the marbles. There is only one issue. Will we allow a Marxist monster to become president and systematically destroy everything we've worked for 300 years to build?

Voting for some preposterous third party candidate is a crime when the stakes are this high. In 1933 the failings of the other parties was not the issue. Anyone who "stuck to principal" was a traitor not only to Germany, but to the human race.

(And incidentally, I am far from a McCain fan. We can rip him a new one- on Wednesday).

There are two very good reasons to vote for McCain: the WOT and the unborn.

Please don't contribute to a situation that will cause our brave soldiers to have died in vain in Iraq and Afghanistan. Obama is going to negate their sacrifice. John McCain will always honor it.

If you are a true conservative, I don't need to tell you how important the right to life is. There is only one pro-life candidate who can realistically stop Obama. If you vote for anyone else, or no one, you are tacitly helping Obama become president. You will be assisting the ascendence of the culture of death. You will be a participant in Obama’s triumph.

A true conservative could not live with that; would hold his nose and vote McCain; would work to support conservatives like Sarah Palin in the future; and would fight on for his country and the values that make it great.

Please stand with us. It's time to stand up and fight with the most precious gift Americans have: the right to vote.

Conservative Dems and independents aren’t going to be swayed by rightwing arguments. So, here’s my list of twenty non-partisan reasons to oppose BHO:

http://24ahead.com/blog/archives/008247.html

When I posted it here a few days ago I believe it got zero replies, which is too bad since I think it could sway some of those undecideds, independents, and conservative Dems.

Let me suggest sending the link, the whole page, or even just a few of the items to everyone you know, and suggest that they send it to everyone they know. Feel free to modify it as necessary for your audience.

A true conservative could not live with that; would hold his nose and vote McCain...Please stand with us.

Why do the Republicans only care about me during election time?

Sorry, common sense (and past experience) would tell me that standing anywhere near Juan McCain will only lead to him stabbing conservatives in the back...again.

That said, I did not vote for Obama, and I have swayed several Obama supporters here in Va. to join me in the third party group...that is the only contribution, implied or otherwise, that I can lend to McCain.

We can rip him a new one- on Wednesday

Good! Hopefully, at 9 am on November 5, 2008, all the pent up disgust for McCain here in Freeperdom will be unleashed simultaneously.

That said, while I personally could not bring myself to vote for him, I did convince several friends who wanted to vote Obama to join me in third party land.

Would you be willing to pray for McCain/Palin during the next two days?

You’ve voted your conscience and done what you felt you could do. Could you add your prayers to our cause of defeating Obama?

"McLame is as loathsome a creature as Barry Hussein Obambi. His SOLE redeeming quality is his running mate."

McCain is nowhere near as loathsome as Obama. And if you're a pro-life, pro-small government, pro-defense conservative, then Palin is NOT his SOLE redeeming quality.

Pro-life McCain believes that human rights start at conception.

Obama believes in the "constitutional right" for a woman to murder her child, before, during and after childbirth. If elected, he would appoint only Planned Parenthood approved judges. And, he'd sign the so-called Freedom of Choice Act. Look it up.

Obama is a Marxist. His intentions are to raise taxes on the "wealthy" so he can give government checks to the poor. He wants to implement universal health care. He wants to seize "excessive" corporate profits. He wants to continue blocking drilling, mining, refining and nuclear power. He's a big government, big spending, big tax kind of guy who would destroy our free economy and what's left of our constitutional rights.

McCain is for keeping the Bush tax cuts and giving additional tax breaks where he can. He wants to freeze spending except for the military and veterans. He wants to cut government programs and budgets, hold the line on spending and veto pork laden bills. He is for drilling, mining, refining and nuclear power. He's for capitalism, and free enterprise.

Obama wants to surrender the war and cut our military and defenses. He wants to scrap our nuclear defenses. He never served a day in uniform, much less a day defending our nation. He would reduce America to a third-rate power.

McCain served 22 years in the navy. Flew bombing missions into Vietnam. Was shot down over Hanoi and held and tortured as a POW for five years. He will continue funding our military and ensure we remain the world's strongest superpower. He will make sure we return victoriously from Iraq, Afghanistan and wherever else we have to go to defeat the Islamic terrorists so the next generation doesn't have to go back and do it again.

Yeah, I know. McCain has some problems too. But one hell of a lot fewer of them than Obama. Obama has NO redeeming qualities whatsoever. Pure unadulterated evil.

I urge everyone, even Democrats, independents and third party types to defend America, support our troops, defend our constitution, secure our liberty, support free enterprise, defend life, defend family, preserve our American way of life! Say no to Marxism! Say no to surrender! Say no to ultra liberalism/socialism! Say no to the destruction of American freedom! Say no to OBAMA!

Vote for McCain/Palin!

Any conservative voting third party this election should go and slap a soldier in the face, since that’s what you’re doing.

An Obama Presidency would be like the Soviet Union, minus the military power.

Jim,

As much as I dislike, and mistrust McCain, there is no alternative.

Obama must be stopped!

My Prayers are that "the one" is stopped at the ballot box.

If he is not stopped there, you know as well as I that he will not be allowed to destroy this Nation... no threat implied.

If the latter step is neccesary, there will be a civil war/race war... unholy as we have ever seen.

If so, it is the price of maintaining our Freedom.

Either way this goes, there will be blood in the streets.

PRAY people!

Barry Goldwater was my Senator. John McCain is my Senator. Of the two, John McCain is the more conservative.

Goldwater didn't give a damn about abortion. McCain is near obsessed with it.

Goldwater reached across the aisle. McCain reached across the aisle.

McCain wants to establish some kind of order for the illegal workers. The kind of workers that Goldwater hired.

McCain is advocating tax policies that would reduce the Federal Government to Eisenhower levels.

Let the chips fall where they may.

I have only the most utter contempt for TRAITORS LIKE YOU, who would sellout this great country and subject it to incredible harm, due to your bitter, petty, little grudges.

Rab, you're going to have to hold onto this link, bookmark it, and use it yourself. Me? I'm resigned to voting for McShame 'cause he sucks less.

I'm afraid come Wednesday we'll be eating more than just a crap sandwich.

P.S. It's Bush's fault! </NoSarcasm>

Not a bloody chance in hell.

Obama is too far left and I don't believe our country could ever bounce back from him being president. I would also vote third party if I didn't see the danger involved with Obama being president.

The danger is not in whether or not there is a liberal president. The danger is in the lack of opposition thereto. MccAin't is a primary cause of that lack of opposition, and endorsing him is the endorsing of Republican liberalism. I would not do that if mine were the deciding vote. Screw the Republican socialists. Throw the bastards out, then we can talk (and not a minute before it, either).

I do not favor amnesty and I know both guys favor it. But McCain is in favor of securing our border, while Obama calls ICE agents terriorists.

MccAin't is in favor of no such thing, or Hunter's fence would be standing today. He and his kind say one thing, and do another. And it is not just amnesty, not by a long shot. There is hardly a thing that 0bama touts that MccAin't does not endorse as well- just in lesser doses.

You may do as you please, but as for me, I will not endorse the likes of him. I will not be the cause of electing him to office. I will cast my vote for Alan Keyes; a man I believe in, and can vote *for*.

I've told you before - Don't cut your nose off to spite your face!

Voting for MccAin't is cutting your throat to save your face. Voting for such as he is unconscionable, at least if one is t call one's self a conservative.

Fair enough. That's a reasonable request and something I can do. I will keep Gov. Palin in my thoughts and prayers and maybe even Sen. McCain, though more in the vein that he will not do anything egregiously dumb...like pandering to the Democrats again.

What unmitigated pap! What a ridiculous and outright falsehood! MccAin't is no defender of LIFE. At best he is an opportunist on the subject, and as I have warned many others here, I will warn you:

I will haul out my entire anti-life portfolio on John "the traitorous bastard" MccAin't, and i will prove in voluminous terms that he is by far the most obstructive force on the Republican side wrt Pro-Life issues, and that he is in fact one of the premiere supporters of Planed Parenthood on the Republican side as well.

Do *not* even begin to trot him out under the Pro-Life banner. *NOBODY* I know in the Pro-Life grassroots (and I know a bunch of them) are voting MccAin't.

...who would sellout this great country and subject it to incredible harm...

McCain sells out conservativism, the Republican Party, and the Republic every time he crosses the aisle to join the Democrats.

On the other hand, I have cast an educated and informed vote, thus fulfilling my duty and obligation to my Commonwealth and the United States.

Does that make me a "traitor"? Hell no!

due to your bitter, petty, little grudges.

My decision was based primarily on McCain's sorry record, including his obvious support for amnesty, for bailout after for bailout, and for Al Gore's climate change scam. Furthermore, I considered his willingness and tendency to say whatever he feels necessary in order to win.

On every count, McCain failed.

Now, stop acting like a DU/Kos partisan, and start acting like a rational, intelligent conservative Freeper.

That statement is utterly BIZARRE since my position in this matter is IDENTICAL to what the founder of this board, I.E. The Original Freeper, has stated. IT IS YOU WHO NEED TO START ACTING LIKE A GOOD FREEPER.
