One can't help but notice there are like a zillion toss up states on that map.

Still Co, Nv and Pa lean Obama. I also wonder whether Coleman, Dole and Stevens can win. I'm not excited by any of them, but they are better that their counterparts (yes, Stevens too).

AZ toss up? time to phone bank for McCain go to the website and get hooked up or get to a battleground state and turn out the vote.
Spread the word to all those coal swing states, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Colorado, New Mexico, and Virginia.
Obama will bankrupt coal companies - Official calls comments 'unbelievable'...

What Obama's plans are for the coal industry---
So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can, Obama said. It's just that it will bankrupt them because they're going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that's being emitted.

Interesting given Gallups recent laugher poll. What an election, what a display of blatant propaganda by people who are supposed to be objective. It has always been bad but this year the pollsters and press have been in near constant fellation of the dem candidate.
To: DrHannibalLecter
Shouldn’t they be moving Minnesota into the toss-up category?
Or is that only reserved for once tried and true red states?

New poll just out has O 49 Mac 46. MOE numbers. McCain may drag Coleman across the finish line if we drag Johnny Mac across ahead of O.

I don’t follow RCP anymore. The info is useless at this point. Some of the state polls are weeks old and do not reflect the daily changes in the electorate. They also include outliers that skew the numbers.
Pro-Obama as well.

These electoral vote map web sites have had Obama winning between 350 to 370 electoral votes for the past month. Now all of a sudden they are pulling states back from Obama??? Were previous polls propaganda and useless?
I’ve always heard that they want the last poll before election day to be close to the actual results, so they retain their credibility. we’ll see.
To: HerrBlucher
Goodness gracious. I don’t want to think about pornographic acts being performed on candidates. We got enough of that with Bill Clinton.

They need to do that to Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota as well.

Ya think these pollsters are paid to manufacture poll results al la carte and deliver the actual polls to the paying clients? You betcha!

This map is insipid. They have ARIZONA as a tossup? Along with North Dakota, Montana and Georgia to name a few.
McCain is going to win those states by 5 to 15% each....so something is seriously screwed up here...unless Obamunist is going to win all 50 states.

Accord to an audio on YOU TUBE (from a XM radio show), there was a pollster who said that in NJ and Michigan McCain was leading and in California McCain was down 1...44 to 43 percent.
Obama, don't call the movers yet!!

I believe IBD/TIPP was the most accurate, off by less than 1% in 2004. Guess which poll is showing McCain within 2% today?
