"You shouldn't just meet Joe the plumber, meet Julie the salon owner, who is mad that you closed me and ten of my girls down for two days," said Julie Aragon, owner of Studio 127 salon ... Aragon and other business owners estimate they'll lose hundreds of dollars ...
"I can't even open my door tomorrow," said Rhonda Murry, the owner of an antique shop... Murry spent $150 to attract customers in town this weekend for a large antique fair. "This was a big antique weekend and we've lost our revenue for basically two days," ...
The small business owners in the area wanted to know--"Who planned this?" said Aragon.
According to the city of Pueblo, the Obama campaign selected this site.
The campaign office wouldn't comment on their site selection process, but members of the Obama campaign gave the affected business owners VIP tickets to the rally to make up for the inconvenience. For some, that wasn't enough. "Although it may be a nice picture on the wall, how is that going to change our financial status, it doesn't," said Terre Heath

He certainly is not concerned about the small business owners as he claims to be.

Small businesses need to get used to getting screwed over by “The One.”
If political candidates had to spout their rhetoric in public without all of this security and scripted crowd response, we would not be in the political mess we are in today.
close down, or stay open and let Obama steal your ‘earnings’ because it isn’t fair that you got that money and some bum didn’t.
It's for being a MARXIST and SOCIALIST, STUPID!!!
poo-A-blow.
Is this legal?
That’s my question as well. On what authority can they do this?
“VIP” tickets don’t pay the bills. BO is out of touch with main street America
BTTT
Several Pueblo store owners were unhappy ...
One woman says the Obama campaign used port-a-potties and a tarp to block the McCain sign in her window.
I feel that my constitutional rights not only to open my business but now my right to free speech has been trampled on,
The freedom to do business and not be shut down.

I guess if O wants it to happen it will ......I think its plain wrong though. It seems he can do as he likes. As for VIP tickets given out .....That would be insulting to me. I would have no problem telling them right where they could shove their VIP Obama tickets.
“He certainly is not concerned about the small business owners as he claims to be.”
I must have missed that.
All signs point to open warfare on businesses of all sizes. Actually the warfare, more broadly stated, will be on productive individuals in general.
This is the same arrogant, big government punk who wanted to shut down America for Election Day. The only reason that won’t happen is that some Democrat with more than the usual 3 or 4 neurons firing at any given time, will remind him that that would ultimately mean less tax dollars to steal.
Sorry to be vulgar, but Obama’s disdain for the people who made and still make this country great brings out the worst in me.
VIP tickets to his rally. Really??
Its like getting a time share in New Orleans for Katrina. Yeah, its a great time but eventually you are left standing with only a drink in your hand.
The article says:
But the rally could help businesses like this coffee shop, further down the street, where hundreds of supporters will be standing. The owner, an Obama supporter, says the exposure is well worth any restrictions. “You could even say I’m Charles owner and I know that things will be better if he’s in office so anything we can do to help out we’re there,” said Charles Sole, owner of the Daily Grind.
So the solution is obvious. Spread the wealth. Any extra made by the Coffee Shop should be confiscated and divided equally among the other shops who are losing business. Make Charles walk the walk. STAND UP CHUCK! SHARE YOUR TOYS.
