Well, at least Obama admits that he understands the FACT that the power to tax is the power to destroy.
Remember when he told Joe the Plumber he didn’t want to “punish” him for his success?
No. He wants to DESTROY him.
Clearly, Obama has admitted, repeatedly, that he knows TAXES KILL. He intends to use TAXES to KILL the energy industry on the altar of Al Gore’s carbon credits.

Unfortunately, McCain also supports a cap n trade system, so the argument is blunted a bit.

Yes. According to Obama we are selfish. We had the mildest summer in recent memporiy and I am supposed to believe that we are about to burn up. When I was a young adult I was being told that we were about to experience the second ice age. Thirty years later I’m going to burn up. And Obama wants me to do that in the dark!

Obama knows the American school system controlled by the Democrats for decades has dumbed down enough of the electorate that enough people might actually believe increasing electricity prices is good for them.
The problem for the USA is that our manufacturing sector will be wiped out because foreign firms not having such stupid electricity programs would produce products for much less than our USA companies can.
But then the foreign companies would not really benefit either because the USA consumers would have no money to buy anything since they do not have a job.
Obama is great at telling half of the story. He obviously never listened to Paul Harvey as a child and heard the REST OF THE STORY.
