Day 21: IBD/TIPP Tracking Poll
The race tightened again Sunday as independents who'd been leaning to Obama shifted to McCain to leave that key group a toss-up. McCain also pulled even in the Midwest, moved back into the lead with men, padded his gains among Protestants and Catholics, and is favored for the first time by high school graduates.

Fired up?!?!
wohoooo!!!!

I know how some people feel about Dick Morris, so, I post this with a massive amount of apprehension.
But, I heard him say last week that if barry is polling less than 48%, there is no way he can win.
Do you feel the tension in the air yet ?
this election is unbelievable.
DRUMROLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
McCain 47.59% Obama 44.48%
TURNOUT WINS ELECTIONS!, NOT POLLS!!!
USA!!!, USA!!!, USA!!!, USA!!!, USA!!!
LET'S WIN THIS ONE!!!
Excellent news for McCain. This is HUGE. This again indicates the momentum is still moving and most importantly moving where we need it.
He’s absolutely right. Had to happen sometime I guess. :)
Come on PUMA! Show us what you have.
PA, OH, VA...do you want your coal industry to go bankrupt and lose thousands of jobs?
Wake up America. You have 48 hours to make the right choice!
Thanks for sharing.
>>look at those undecided women... hmmm...
Seems to be the key to the race, eh?
;-)
Welcome PUMA, thanks for the vote. We can haggle about 2013-2020 later.
Don’t forget Colorado....don’t they use alot of coal?
I’ll bet McCain led Obama in Saturday’s sample. Obama had been gaining for 5 straight days before this, and this poll uses a 5 day sample. McCain had to have led on Saturday to pick up this much in one day in a poll that uses a 5 day average.
We can't let that big zero destroy our country. There's a lot of damage that can be done a short time. Damage that will take much longer to repair!
Welcome.
LOL, we’re grateful for your help!
I can’t agree there unless she dumps the Alinsky tactics herself and leads a purge of the leftists from the Dem party. I don’t think she’ll do this though.
But welcome nonetheless. Plenty of time to argue about other things later...it’s all a moot point if we don’t beat Zero.
My social life depends upon them.
(my lame attempt at humor)
