Vanity: Mara Liasson makes a very interesting point on Fox Sunday
Fox News

Posted on 11/02/2008 9:00:11 AM PST by MAD-AS-HELL

Mara made a comment that if the Demoncrats get their 60 votes and THE MARXIST ONE infects the Oval office with socialism, that the Dems will spend as much as they can and push aside any concern of the deficit. I have no reason to doubt her because politicians like to spend and have never really taken the deficit serious with but one occasion (1994 with Pube Revolution) but it will be interesting to see how the media will once again cover for the Dems on how it's necessary for the dems to forget about their pledge to balance the budget and reduce or eliminate the deficit.

Four branches if you count the media.

The Democrats think there won’t be a deficit because they will tax “the rich,” that is, anybody making over $60,000/year

What better way to destroy the country. Drive the debt up and up and up, make everything fall apart completely, and then go hat in hand to our new masters, the Communist Chinese.

The media is already Fuhrer Obama’s fifth column.

Soon they will be telling us there is no further need for elections.

I think he meant House, Senate, President. Judiciary would be yet another.

If you guys think that deficits will be a problem in an Obama administration with 60 Senate votes, you're drinking kool aid. Deficits will be the very least of our problems.

If they pass the "Fairness" doctrine and then Obama gets his "civilian security force" (Gestapo), we're talking serious, serious totalitarianism here. I never thought I'd see this in the U.S., but it will make FDR's heavy hand look like Reagan.

Barney Frank has already said as much. He said that the deficit will have to take second place to the main priority of getting our economy back on track, i.e., thru more government spending.

And I imagine she will still be voting for Obama and anyone else with a D behind their name.

And that would differ from the last 8 years how?

NPR, not PBS.

Like saying she's a Leninist, not a Trotskyite. IOW, no material difference.

Those whom the Gods would destroy, they first make crazy.
It appears this has finally reached an end stage with the democrat party.

Now, for the rest of our society.
And without us as the “cowboys”, the rest of the globe.

Who would have thought this would loom as a real possibility in my short lifetime?

Who would have thought so many Americans would become blinded by a glib dark skinned man whose rise defies all reason and logic?

I've been thinking about this. Who would comprise this force? It would have to be the Ayers radical types.

I don't think they are a great enough number to be effective and of course we are now talking about an all out civil war, one which I would gladly take part and believe we would win in short order.

Am I going wrong here and being a bit too paranoid? The fact that I even have to worry about posting this question gives me pause as well.

"And I imagine she will still be voting for Obama and anyone else with a D behind their name."

I don't know about that....O'Reilly's radio sidekick whose name escapes me admitted this week she's voting for McCain, but pulling the lever for all other Dem positions.....

Liberal Democrats are champing at the bit to create a new New Deal, combined with a new Great Society. They have been pounding the theme of “the worst economy since the great depression” to convince the public that massive federal intervention in every aspect of our lives is required in order to save the Union.

This is how Obama and his goon squad of demagogues rolls.

Deficits will become irrelevant, the second coming of Abraham Lincoln and FDR has arrived.
