Lula Cooper expects the tears to flow if Barack Obama becomes the first black president. But she's not breaking out the tissues just yet.
"I cried when I marked my ballot for him. We've had such an incredible journey to this point," said the former civil rights activist, her voice quavering. "I think he's going to win, but I really am very, very cautious."

America the Stupid, indeed. Public “education” has finally acheived its goal. I would venture to say the majority of voters aren’t even aware of the parallels between Nobama and Hitler.
I know I will encourage flaming by this comment ... but I don’t blame blacks for being excited about Obama. Their race has been through alot, and this would be quite a watershed moment.
It is white liberals that I absolutley despise.
Perhaps she perceives “jobs for her kids” in a negative way.
They should be able to live off the backs of whitey that has oppressed her “race” for 400 years.

Disgraceful. The Civil Rights movement was wasted on people like her.
The same sort of people who vote for Obama also voted to put an end to Apartheid in South Africa by any and every means possible. And to put an end to White Rule in Rhodesia and hand power to Mugabe irrespective of the likely consequences.
Replacing one injustice with another worse one is just plain bucket-headed stupidity.
A vote for Obama “because he’s Black (well, sorta)” makes a cynical mockery of everything the Civil Rights movement stood for. Not a new concept, true. But a sad one that continues.
A black communist is still a communist.

I just don't get it. But then I don't get some of my fellow females being excited over Hillie's candidacy just because she's a woman, either.

We will see how the black race handles their new power. I think we can safely say that this race that has been through a lot, will continue to say they have been through a lot and even with a black President they will still demand more.
IF the zero wins, his "Civilian National Security Force" will likely be mostly blacks who see this as an opportunity to "get whitey." The shroud of the dark side will have fallen, and the race war will have begun. This country will be in deep Kim Chee.

Whatever we have been through we have been through and I certainly would no want that we go through more by voting for some Marxist neophyte.

Emotion should be reserved for your family, fellow man and the Jesus himself. All other emotions will cost you if left unchecked.
I find it difficult in my daily struggle of trying to convert Obama supporters by pointing out logical conclusions and facts. I am amazing. I work in a highly technical environment and my skills, experience and ethics are regarded as among the best. I am trusted with the virtual keys to the city, hospitals and wallets. Nobody EVER questions my honesty or integrity... until I talk about Obama. Any and all questionable points regarding Obama are written off as lies, deceit and posturing. I have spent countless hours at lunch and dinner talking to some of these people over the past year and have managed to get only one of them to second guess Obama. To them, it is all about Bush losing. I know that doesn't make sense, but they consider Bush a republican and all republicans Bush. They have built a defense against reason and fact. They absolutely will not hear anything negative about Obama. Period.
I mean, true or not, we are watching a guy who we cannot even verify qualifies technically (US Citizen) lead in the polls. I don't necessarily believe he isn't qualified, but he won't even prove that he is... something you are forced to do even for a job at the McDonalds drive through.
Liberals have thrown out all of the rules on this one. If we found out tomorrow that he has taken bribes, was really a citizen of Kenya, beat his wife, wrote checks for millions to Acorn, helped Bill Ayers bomb the pentagon and kicked his neighbor’s cat, libs would look the other way and his numbers would go up.
It's all about emotions; particularly, hatred.
What does she expect? A new TV? She sounds like she has to sit at the back of the bus! She signed the death of the progress her own race from moving up the ladder. She can now forget about all the African Americans who who are studying hoping to be independent, hoping to be wealthy, hoping to own their own business.
